Alright I am looking at buying a 240 coupe as some of you may know, and I plan on doing a full silvia conversion eventually, i thiink at first I will just work on the exterior of the conversion, cause I am in high school still and dont really feel like I need an sr20det....yet! But I need some sites taht sell the complete front end conversion for s13s, also what is a front clip? does that include everything needed for front conversion, and sr20det? And how much can i expect to pay for a s13 conversion, just parts, and how difficult is the installation of all these parts, and if i need to get it professioanlly installed, how much should I be looking to spend? thanks a lot guys!

lucky is you, i just did my conversion like... 4 days ago?

the parts is hard to find if you are looking for the front end, especially for some strange reasons, lately shops are having hard time getting the front end.

as far as installation goes? direct bolt on, mine didn't come w/ headlight support, so i had to fabricate it, it'll be easier if u had headlight support.

i was lucky to get bumper support w/ the bumper, it made the installtion super easy

front clip? it sounds deceiving, you basically get the whole front of the car, sr20, ecu, maybe even steering wheel, but the thing is, u usually don't get body panels, and if u do, it's beat up to hell

whoa bro a whole 3 days? That's nothing!

"...and I plan on doing a full silvia conversion..." just a thought but before you plan on doing anything, I suggest finding estimated prices. For a high school student that is one hella expensive venture. Unless of course this is your parents purchasing this shit. I realize your looking for stuff but if you even took two seconds to look at the FAQ on this page your questions would be answered and go into the links section. Join some 240SX mailing lists etc.

You can't be such a prick when your asking for answers.

Calling people an ass on this board isnt the smart thing to do It will lead to major flaming. The kits run from 1500 to 3000 depending on condition and where you buy it from.

Wholesalehyperformance.com (http://www.wholesalehyperformance.com/)

theres one.

Jspec.com (http://www.jspec.com/)

Those are the only sites I am going to put up. you shouldnt need any more. AsS

you know what guys, i really am sorry for being an ass, i didnt mean to.

I went to wholesalehyperformance.com and tehir prices seem awesome. But they seem awfully low to me, is this a company i can trust? and is this kit truly bolt on, Will i have to maybe do any body work to the fenders, is there a chance they are dented. And then all i have to do is paint right? Cause yes i am a high school student farily low on cash, and i would like to be able to do this conversion bymyself t
1)save money and
2) also learn more about cars
is anybody here located in colorado, and willing to help out a fellow zilviaer out with installs in his car??

I also hate can'tpaymemymoney (cammpain), he's a bit of an ass, I'll help you help him sleep with the fishes.

Anyways, wholesalehyperperformance.com is a good company.

It is a bolt-on affair, IF you have head light support, if not, then you will have to take a trip to the hardware store and buy some metal so you could shape a L brackets (2x12 iirc)

MOST S13 Silvia fenders that come off front clips have dents, dings, and starches.. etc. So when you take them to the body shop to get painted, you also get the dents removed.
And you have to wire the head lights, which is not a big problem. Other then this, bolt-on.

Sometime you can score the conversion for a little less if you buy most of the parts separate, but sometimes this can backfire.
