I just started up my SR and its idling pretty much fine but the engine sounds rough like the timing is off. My TPS voltage reads 0.37 and I cant get it any higher.. I know you have to change the CAS until the second timing mark is on the tab.. I cant get my timing light to work.. I hooked it up to the wire that coils out in the back, on the 1st coil wires.. just wont go. Even tried another gun and still nothing. Can someone explain the procedure? Thanks.

unplug the tps(throttle position sensor), then yes your right hook it up the the number 1 spark plug wire, about it not reading anything my brother had this probelm you just have to move it around in diffrent places or try getting under the rubber that is around the spark plug wires. then loosen the crank angle sensor and turn that to set it if your SRtwanky is stock or sockish you should be running about 16-17, if you have alot of mods i recomend advancing it to about 18. i wouldnt go any higher than that.
