Hey ppl.. i would like to know what kind of tires u like .. the Toyo T1-S or the Brigestone SO3.. i have heard pretty good story for both of them... which tires u guys like the best? pls let me know. cause i need new set of tires really really soon..Thx
Yoko AVS Sports are my fav but pretty costly.
A520's are my fav as far as cost vs performance.
My next set might be some Summitomo tires since they are cheap and give some decent performance, but I may end up getting some A520's again.
I hate Kumho and Dunlop.

just got some yokahamas Avid T4... there are better ones out there.. but these are very good for their price.. i like them... 225s rear and 205 front.. they make them in pretty low profiles.. i got 50s.. so im happy with those... check

I got the lower line of Potenza's and they are pretty decent so Im gonna go out on a limb and say that the high line of them must be very good. I personally want to try some Potenza RE730s(I believe) or the new S-03 Pole Positions they have.

How about the new Kumho MX i heard they're awesome... anybody heard anything about them >
So T1S or So3? cause i think this are the 2 that have my size ... which is not that costly... cause i;m gonna go with 235/45/17 in front, and 255/45/17 in the rear ...
Have you considered the falken azeins?
My falken azeins review (http://www.steamymirror.com/dsc240sx/review/review_azenis.htm)
They are great for the money...as long as you like grip driving (no drifting for these mofo's)

the so3's are good but the so2's are better. they grip a lot better, much more stickier... but then the tire life of the so2 sucks.

I'm using Dunlop Sp 5000 235/45/zr17 all around. It's good for all kinds of condition. The price is fair and tire life is good.

I have Kumho's... they're great but i'm not sure of the size. They don't really spin on water, and won't squeel unless i give it a lot of gas.

yeah i heard alot of good things about Azenis and i love them too, but as u said the life of those tires are really bad... also they don't make 255/40/17 so .. i end up order some T1S.. theyre quite and good grip as well..

Yokohama AVS Sport
Toyo T1-S
Both are great street tires...have similar tread design go figure.

i actually bought tires today
i went cheap and went with the Nitto 450 extreme $79 a tire
cant beat it
I like the Potenza RE730's, also the S-03's I ran the 730's for a weekend event and was very pleased, kinda surprised they didn't chunk. I'd like to step up to the S-03's now though.

730's get greasy at temp, and will scrub off, i've seen it, you must not have been running very hard. the dunlops i have are good for everyday summer driving, but like the 730's, got slimy after a few laps and scrubbed quite a bit.

GET THE AZEINAS. My friend got it on his 1995 civic hatch witha gsr and with his old tires he could break loose like no other, but with the azeinas launching is improved and handling is slightly better b/c of stiffer sidewall. the contact patch on the azeinas are HUGE, ABSOULUTELY HUGE. he has like 5" rims, but the conact patch is somewhere around 6".
