Can you describe it a little better? Is it SR or KA? It sounds like the KA-T kit from Greddy you are talking about but nonetheless, please use more detail and describe it better. I have a lot of tuning experience with the emanage, but I can't really understand what you are talking about.

Sorry.its for my kat, stock kit, stock boost.the a.a.v light is orange at any thing below 1000rpm ang green anything above 1000rpm.it my change a little at high rpm but cant always watch it.from what i understand it compinsating when the lite changes, right?.Now here is the problem if im on the gas, boosting and higher in rpm and put it in neutral as the rpm fall all is good. untill it hits 1000krpm then the air fuel gauge goes to full rich and the car stumbles..what i mean by that is tach will almost botom out like 200rpm and go up to like 1200 and will do this briefly 1 to 2 sec,and smooth rite out.recently i was running it hard with some buddys and it stalled.its like its not compensating fast enuff. hope you know what i mean. thanks

I know exactly what you mean. 2 things can cause this issue. 1stly, a lighten flywheel can cause this issue because there is not enough rotating mass to keep the engine at correct RPM when the tranny is disengaged. 2ndly, it sounds like the car is running really rich in the lower portion of the map right under the boost curve. Unfortunately you are located in Philly and I don't suggest you tune it without either being on a dyno or have a wideband recording device. I would suggest you going to an experience tuner with hours logged on the emanage and having him fine tune the emanage. A lot of people dislike the emanage because people think that the emanage is a piggy back and can't be as good as a stand alone, which is BS. If tuned correctly its just as good if not better and it is proven.
Only way to help you is for you to pull your emanage map off your emanage and send it to me to see if I can help you. If you dunno how to do that, I would suggest you bring it someone. But basically the mapping is not a very clean map from Greddy which causes your problem.
Or... Change your driving style
At high boost and RPM, you should go into neutral after you boost high at high RPM. To do so, it are abruptly unloading the engine too quick causing everything to spin freely which is not a good thing anyways..... Break and Heal-Toe into a lower gear to help slow down the engine with braking applied. Not a good idea to go 6500 RPM at 10psi and go directly into neutral basically putting a lotta stress on your motor and your tranny when you do that... Slowly bring it down and your problem should go away.... Hope this advice helps.

Thanks for the feedback....I do have a lightweight flywheel and I know greddy sets the emanage in there kits with what they call a "consevative"tune.there are not many good tuners that i know around here or with no real knowledge of the emanage.i have a e01 and will get some maps asap,i have to put that in and stock sr side mount with stock audi d/v then im hitting the dyno caint wait to see the a/f ratio.thanks again

There you go...... the lightened flywheel will do the same. I have one on my SR and the emanage is tuned and it still does it, not very often though, but it does the same thing. My friend who has an 8LB flywheel for his M3, same exact thing as well. The flywheel helps the motor keep spinning but when you lighten it, the internals are not used to having such a load off of the motor so it just really slows down the revs quick. I guess another way is if you got patience and a digital camera, you can take hi-res pictures of all the screens in the profec-e01 and send em to me and I can help you make some suggestions. And maybe show you why you should do it the way I suggest.... Good Luck... Happy Tuning, glad you chose Emanage

I know EXACTLY what's going on. YOu need a BOV, and have it recirculated.
Either that, when you BOOST, let it ride in gear, and don't step on the clutch. You'll be fine. Just gotta slightly change your driving style.

That would help, but question was already answered, based on lightened flywheel which will make the difference he is talking about.... But good suggestion... I think he has a BOV from the KAT Greddy kit.... Recirculation wouldn't cause the stutter....

if he doesnt resurc it will stutter... its still unmetered air leaving especially if you have a push type BOV...

I was running no blowoff/diverter valve at all,or intercooler...I know your thinking "WHAT".none of it came with the kit,and they say its not needed at that low of boost, and for now im only running 6psi the stock wastegate setting, soon to be 8ish.but to save the turbo and keep the turbo spooled between shifts its a must.I have a stock s14 sidemount from my old front clip with piping(that doesent fit with air filter any way) and a new audi 2002+d/v.I put in last night and it doesent feel that much faster but none the less it is.It would probly stall without reciculating, but the problem im having is difrent and not that big of a deal,i just wanted to know why.
