so i was installing some electrical stuff last night, and came across an alarm that was already in the car. i ripped it out, brain and wires, pretty much just traced the wires from the brain, disconnected them, and took it all out. i thought it would be fine cause ive done it before on my old s13s and everything worked fine after i did that.

so i have a push button start, which pretty much just jumps the starter (one cable goes to battery + and other goes to starter power cable) i dont get anything from the button now, no clicks, nothin. (when i tried to start the car with a weak battery before it would just click and shut off the electricity in the car) all the electricals work in the car except for this switch.

everything worked perfect before i started fuckin with it. any suggestions?

did you reconnect the wires after you removed the alarm?

usually an alarm installation involves cutting wires so the alarm can install between em... un-installiation involves tracing them back and reconnecting them.

if you have the alarm brain, look up the brand and model # on google. if you're lucky, you might find DIY installation instructions. uninstallation is the reverse. good luck.

the person who installed the alarm used those wire taps with the spade connectors, i just removed the spade connectors.

the starter switch you have could be bad or a starter kill relay was installed with the alarm. you must find out where that relay is and reconnect the starter wires...good luck man

Check fuses, you may have poped somthing, if you are sure you pulled the alarm properly.
