1980 Chevrolet K10
The motor was a brand new target crate motor for a 1989 tbi(fuel injected) 3/4ton Chevy pickup. This motor is cammed to be in a truck, its not just some random 350, its a four bolt main truck motor that is cammed for pulling power. It wasnt a remanufactured motor, it was brand spankin new. The guy we got it off of was a mechanic. This motor was meticulously maintained, i mean perfect. At about 25,000 miles, his son had an accident in the truck and we bought the motor out of it to put in ours. When we put it in our truck, we put an Edelbrock aluminum intake on it, along with a brand new Holley 650cfm carb w/electric choke. The transmission is a very desirable 3 speed Toploader with granny low. It isnt a sideloader car or light duty tranny, its the heavy duty truck tranny, People pay tons for these things. it has 32x11.50's on it right now, they still have a decent amount of tread on them. The paint and interior are rough, as you can see in the pics. All in all it is a very solid truck... Its capable of 75-80mph easily, its not geared so low that its redlining on the highway, but its geared low enough to have grunt.... Its a four wheel drive, the driver side hub wont lock in though, the actual hub needs to be replaced. we know someone who has the part, just havnt got around to gettin it done.

this thing really needs to go, its a great truck that would be a good workhorse for years to come... or with a little bit of tlc... its a great start to what could be a damn nice old pickup....
