I did not want to drag out an 05 thread.
I had it done last thursday, love it and can see better than ever, still a bit fuzzy but I got three month's before final result.
I just want everyone to know if you got the flow, fix your eyes and you will know

I've been thinking about it, thanks for the testimonial.

How much did you pay?

The bitch is expensive. It may be different in your area, but I talked to a friend whose mom got it done, and it was $1400 per eye. Ahhh, you're in Washington as well. I don't know if you live in a rich area of it, but since he does, it was alot more expensive for his mom.

I woulud give $1,400 in a HEARTBEAT, if it's knowing that I can see better(if I needed it).

Vision IMO, is probably one of the most important of the five.

but isnt there some people that still need to wear glasses for reading? and i thought i remember hearing that sometimes it can cause total vision loss. like its not 100% guarnteed. i actually thought about it at one point.. but id rather stick to contacts.. btw congrats man, you must be feeling like "ITS A MIRACLE!" haha

what was your prescription before you had the surgery? I'd like to have this done when I'm done with college.

Lifetime warrenty on your eyes? wtf? How does that work...as in if your sight is fucked up again they fix it for free? I always wondered the long term effects of lasik surgery but I dont wear glasses/contacts

I wanted to get lasik, but I was scared about my night vision. My night vision is already not too hot to begin with and if it got worse I don't even think I would drive at night. And getting Custom/wavefront lasik would be over 2 G's per eye. Fuck that.

my mom had it done in canada. cheaper cuz the doctors are only on salary and get paid the same no matter what procedures they do. she loves it.

my friend had it done in mexico. he's from mexico and i guess he knew the doctor. otherwise i woulda been like :mepoke:

My old boss had it done. $1,400 per eye for him as well. If my eyes start to go I'm gonna do it.

I've had 3 guys I know get it done. Uncle Sam foots the bill. Almost a shame that I have 20/20 when I could get Lasik for free.

Can I pretend to be you so I can get Lasik for free, Barry? Since, you know, I wanna be you when I grow up anyway..
