Ive searched and searched and I cant find anything on installing a Nismo FPR for the S14 Blacktop motor.

I just bought the kit with the bracket and everything but the installation is confusing me.

Also, am i going to also need to install a fuel pressure guage to set the FPR?? Im lost..
Can someone walk me though this or at least post a picture of their FPR install? thanks!

ok, since you have the adapter bracket, i'm assuming you have the universal fpr, the adapter goes where the stock fpr is, take your hose now and run it from the bracket to nismo fpr inlet, and then hook your return line up to the outlet on the fpr. Then plug in your vacuum line. Mount the FPR where its handy to get to the adjustment. stock pressure is 38 psi with vac, 43 psi with vac unplugged.

for a gauge, you can get an inline adapter with a threaded port for the gauge, and stick that in the hose (just cut it in half) between the fuel filter and inlet of the fuel rail. or a brass t with 2 barb fittings on either side.

My nismo fpr (non-universal one) on s14 sr, is bolted straight on the rail, but the outlet needs to be bent back the other way, you can do it gently and keep it from kinking. The crackhead previous owner did it with his teeth or vicegrips i'm assuming because it looks horrible and will be replaced here shortly.

If you need more explanation, i'll take some pics tomorrow, but its hard to see much on s14's with the lowport intake manifold covering everything.

yea, if you can find a cheap pressure gauge at a hardware/parts store, you can use that and just use the brass t and 2 barbs that fit the t/your fuel line and use the top part of the t to thread the gauge in, if its a standard NPT gauge.
