Ok so I got an electronic boost gauge from greddy, 52mm, non peak hold, and I got the wiring done on it, but I dont have instructions on how to hook up the vacums for the sensor. I though I just needed to run a line from the intake manifold to it, but a friend is telling me that I need to use a Y, with one line coming from the intake manifold, and the other one teed off the fuel pressure regulator line, the both merge through the Y and then connect to the sensor. Is this the right procedure?
Thanks

Just tee off a vac line any where on the manifold and send that to the gauge. Don't know what this merge stuff you are talking about is.

I T'd mine off the FPR line and it reads fine. Do that.

what does fpr stand for by the way?? ive search but can see, to find the answer?

Fuel pressure riser

so its fuel pressure riser and not fuel pressure regulator?

Regulator*....

Its regulator. and they say to use that vacuum source for the most accuracey..

but you can really just take vacuum from any nipple on the manifold. You will be hard pressed to notice much of a difference in the readings.

does it matter if i tee it off closer to the trottle boddie or near the turbo after the blow off valve??

You want it off the intake manifold.

So Closes To The Intake Manifold?

Yes on the intake manifold or before the throttle body basically. You can T-off of any vacuum line but if you have an extra nipple, just go direct to the intake manifold.

yeah i see two nipples but there both used

Then go buy a T available at any hardware store.
Cut an existing vacuum line, insert the T and go off the other end of the T to your boost gauge.
Done and done.

Make sure the fitment is tight or you'll get a vacuum leak.
