Okay, so Thursday is my day off and I wanted something other than fast food for lunch.
I had to go to the grocery store to get a few items for our family coming into town for the weekend, so I decided that I would be creative:

I started here, with 2 boneless/skinless chicken thighs, seasoned, marinated, baked and then cut:
http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/9692/chicken9si.jpg
... and had my mind made that I would use this pepper medley, with red green and yellow peppers:
http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/6924/peppers5at.jpg
... next thing I came across was these guys:
http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/6424/tortilla0zq.jpg
... and lastly, I would need this:
http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/7161/cheese0us.jpg

Now it is time to begin assembly...

http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/7/meatnveggie3du.jpg

http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/677/openface6sb.jpg
... and then I can roll it all up, and I will have this:
http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/4534/lunch3co.jpg
... I then wrapped it in foil and put it in the oven on 350 for about 10 minutes or so, so as to allow time to melt the cheese and all that goodness, the time I spent uploading the photos. I actually had enough to make two of them.
Now I will wash it down with some green tea with a little lime.

So what is everyone else having for lunch today?

Can't beat fajitas. I usually use a sirlion steak and make it in my cast iron skillet.

Lance crackers, gatorade, and jellybeans. All of those were at my desk. I was too lazy to make a lunch this morning, and too busy to go to the cafeteria or leave work.

Cast iron skillet is not a horrible idea, but I prefer not to have my vegetables overcooked and have not eaten beef in almost 7 years.

^Somebody put a salad on your Cheeseburger. :barf:

I'm one of the weird people who eats burgers PLAIN. Maybe a little ketchup, maybe some bacon once in a while, but no veggies. Definately no tomato, pickles, or onions.

i ate my coworkers left overs, chicken with rice

the alternative was a homemade burrito / hot dogs

philip you need to come to socal bro, your burrito folding skills need work haha

either that or go to chipotle and watch them fold burritos you thought were impossible to fold

driftaholic: no way, WELL DONE in and out fries are the best

No thanks, Logan... I am only concerned that it stays assembled and tastes good, which it did on both points, it dosn't have to be beautiful.

Haha, +1 on the burrito folding skills.

I don't overcook them really. But I do cook the veg's right in the bit's and juices from the steak. Holy fuck that's good. I think I'm having fajita's tomorrow.

#1 for the horrible fries. They taste like cardboard for some reason, actually In-n-Out is just bad taste overall.

I split a $5 Little Ceasar Pizza w/ Bobbyboy today. To add insult to injury, the CrazyBread was $1.00, no problem....THE DAMN SAUCE IS .85 cents EXTRA. What the hell, that's how they get you man. I'm gonna buy a jar of marinera and just throw some spices in it......bastards haha.

Can't beat fajitas. I usually use a sirlion steak and make it in my cast iron skillet.

Best way to cook fajita meat is on a BBQ with real hardwood charcoal, none of that gas or cheap briquette crap that taste like chemicals.

+1 for in 'n out having crappy fries, but I do love the double double.

I just had some crunch rolls, and rice.

And some other funky cambodian meat snack or something.

Such a bad idea, as i was battling the Porcelian (sp?) King for his throne.
