So anyway, my girl just got a 97 GT 94k miles, recently the "Low Oil" light came on, when it did the first time I immediately bought some 10-40w for it. The next day I did a complete oil change, 10-40w GTX High Mileage with a Mobil 1 Filter... So I figured the oil was pretty old and broke down quickly to make the Low Oil light keep going on BEFORE the oil change. So now that the car has new oil you'd figure that the light wouldnt ever come on again, but it did?? I drove to autozone, popped the hood checked the dipstick and it was full?? Turned the car back on and the Low Oil light wasnt on anymore? stupid ford.... any advice? thanks

have a diagnostic scan of the car

ford can do that. it could be just a faulty sensor.
