Need some local help -SF BAY AREA

Im going up to SF this saturday for my 4th year anniversary with the lady. Taking her to this place called Crustaceans. Thing is I am not familiar with SF too much. Just need to get an idea of what else to do. Planning to go there for dinner around 5-6ish, but will be in the city at around 12.

Any ideas to pass the time? Cool places to go, visit, tourist shit?

you should head down to the warf....if it stops raining!!! alot of shops to spend money at....espically if you with your lady!

If you drink, go to the top of the marriot in downtown sf (near 3rd or 4th of market). It has a really nice view. Its really nice to listen to piano and chat. Tanga room at the fairmont is fun if you like the older crowd with dancing and live band.

If you like beer, thirsty bear, gordon bierch just chill.

you can also do the lets get busy spots like twin peaks, coit tower with a view. Walk down the long pier 7 (on embarcadero on the way to pier 39) if its a nice night. Pass pier 39, go straight down pass the cannery, there is a dead end which has a little beach. Then walk around near girdeli (sp) or walk around the cannery.

You can also go site seeing at ocean beach and go to the beach chalet for a drink and listen to a band.

If you wanna get freaky, 25 cent place on broadway (don't slip), gold club, market street cinema.

You can always go to broadway, they have a variety of clubs, drinking establishments. The energy level is pretty high and a lot of people, but parking is rough.

If you want ice cream, go to mitchles ice cream I believe on valencia near the mission. Its good.

if it doesnt rain hit up pier 39 for a walk, its fun and exciting to a girl.

if you want ice cream go to ghiradellis chocolate factory about 4 blocks away from the piers, sit in thier restraunt and order an ice cream sunday. they are huge and deeeliiiciouuus.

take her over to Ocean Beach for a nice sight of the ocean.

make sure! to take her down "Lumbard" its the worlds famous street in san francisco, its a street that shows the whole bay area, you drive down it, and thier are roses everywhere. :) very nice girl pleaser.

then take her up to the san fransico coit tower, and look through the telescopes to see alcatraz and all the city.

take her to treasure island for a nice cruise.

Walk on the beach after dinner if it's still legal to do so at night

the haight has some interesting sights and sounds

if u got time cruise into Berkeley downtown, there are loads of RANDOM shit to do, it's truly a vibrant city, on campus or not

my buddy and i were goin there for food, ended up hitting up hella comic book and used book stores, even walked into a random jazz concert, they had dance lessons, all on some random street, loads of tons of events going on in every nook and cranny

Here's some advice... don't drive.

Park your car in the nearest garage and start hopping buses.

Thanks guys! It is going to rain this weekend, but i hope it doesnt. Just looking for day activities. I dont know if ill have enough strength to go clubbing. We will see.

i'll be up there this weekend too... i'm planning to impress my lady by taking her out to the UC Tap Ex, hanging with 240 guys hahaha jpjp I'm going to fishermans wharf, golden gate park (beaautiful and alot of variety in it) and just gonna show her around the city :D
