No, they are not the same. Most people run without them anyways.

180SX bumper support and USDM 240sx bumper supports are different, so needless to say Silvia bumper supports and 180SX bumper supports are different. They are lighter, and can't withstand 5 mph bumps -(Stolen from Drift Freaq)

you can use a 180sx bumper support on a USDM Chouki Fastback no problem. The Silvia bumper support you could use on a USDM Zenki due to the fact that the turn signal holes are in the right place, though you could not use a USDM Zenki bumper support on a Silvia bumper. You can also use the 180sx chouki bumper support with a kouki bumper. Next question which I have to find out is how will this work with a S15 bumper i.e. can I use a s13 Silvia bumper support with a S15 bumper. hahhahha

and yes JDM bumper supports are not 5mph crash impact rated like USDM ones, which is why they are significantly lighter.

That might, the main thing you would have, is on the end of the bumper support nubs for the 180 bumper that would get in the way of Silvia bumper. If you don't have those nubs it should work. If you have them and cut them off it might work.

Before making my own thread, lemme ask, what bumper support WORKS with like aftermarket bumpers such as AIT 180sx FRONT BUMPER...

I'm guessing I'd have to use a JDM bumper support? Cuz it doesnt fit over my USDM Zenki bumper support.
