Well, I live near downtown LA but work in the Northridge area (Corbin and Nordhoff next to the mall). I usually have a few hours to kill after work to let traffic die down.
I'm not that familiar with the area but on the days I don't go to the gym what cool things are in the area to do? A place the rents Japanese/Hong Kong films and or sells Option mags would be cool. Any car related suggestions are welcomed aswell.
I did find out that a new Harbor Freight store opened in Victory and Fallbrook...

Psh, what you know about $80 race jack that can get underneith my friend's slammed S14. Also, 3 dollar breaker bars? Cheap impact sockets? I'm all over harbor freight. As long as it doesn't have moving parts, I look to Harbor.

There's a meet on Thursday nights around 10pm on Balboa & Devonshire in the El Torito parking lot. Mostly 240 meet but lately it's turned out to be an all car meet. You can also cruise by Upgrade Motoring off of Tampa & Parthenia, see Glen. He's cool peoples.
