Lewis Black hands down.

Runners up:
Dane Cook's a silly bitch.
Mitch Hedburg was teh greatest comic, until he died. WHY MAN WTF?!? Fuck drugs.
Todd Barry's got some good stuff.

But yeah. Lewis Black.

Richard Pryor, the one who made Chappelle, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence and many other comedians, black or white what they are right now. Eddie and Dave both readily admit to being heavily influenced, and listening to some of Dave Chappelle's standup allows one to hear Rich's rehashed old school shit, right down to subject matter, brashness and language.
RIP, Rich; your favorite comedian's favorite comedian

LOL, yes train conductor indeed. I love his euphamism bit though... and his "real" sports list. I dunno, i just love his style of intelligent humor. who knew... cuase i love Mitch Hedberg as well, and his comedy is so dry and all about timing... very different, but still amazing

Toot toot! = not funny...

lol.. Dane, Mencia (before he went TV), Lopez, Robin Williams (back in the day), Eddie back in the day (raw and delirious), Pryor, ... that's enough for now.

george lopez, chris rock's stuff like bigger blacker...carlos mencia is a joke though, he isnt even a real mexican and steals material..

Please elaborate. I've seen/heard his specials and nowhere does he claim being Mexican (HondureƱo I think). Quite the opposite, he jokes about being Mexican in LA but Puerto Rican in NY. What has he stolen? Now George Lopez...

I agree with Nemeguero, though I dig him a lot, Mencia's delivery was sharper before he got the Comedy Central show.

I know there are stoners here, where's the love for Cheech & Chong!?

At least you didn't live there from 91 to 03ish. Granted I did grow up there it sucked and it was so fun at the same time. You'll miss all the cars and everything when you leave.
