What is this hose for? Do I need it?...Im working on custom intercooler piping and this is throwing me off (like How to attatch it to the pipes)...thanks

well if you are talking about the big ass one without a connector, that looks to be you hose for you idle air control valve. make a nipple on your cold pipe and run a longer hose to it.

Yes, I am talking about the big one on the right of the throttle body...I have seen some pictures of setups without it...Is that possible?

I would use that pipe, unless you really know what you're doing. It's going to affect how well your engine runs.

I think I've seen SR's run without that sort of stuff before but they were highly tuned by sponsored drifters at events. The sound really gross though.... Almost like the air/fuel ratio is messed up and it's struggling to stay running.

yes you need it or your car will idle like shit if you are just doing the basics.
