I was just curious to see if anyone has used car-parts.com here to buy any used parts?? I am thinking of using it to buy the 300zx brake up grade, although Im not sure about how much shipping of each rotor will cost? But they only reason is I dont know of any junkyards around Knoxville.
Oh yeah if i get the rotors and have Pepboys rebuild them can I use the Stillen cross-drilled rotors with them with no major problems?
any responses are greatly appreciated, thanks
You can get rebuilt calipers at pepboys or autozone or whereever and they will fit any aftermarket rotors made for the year and modle 300zx the calipers are from.
http://stranoparts.com is a good source for rotors
http://www.pdm-racing.com sells stainless braded lines for the 240 to 300zx conversion.
Its a LOT cheaper to peice together a kit than to but one premade.

Ok I called Autozone and they can get them for 52.88 a caliper with no pads. So is this a decent price or what? I have no clue about these parts and what a good deal is?!?

There are a couple posts in our FAQ on the z32 brake upgrade.
This (http://www.zilvia.net/f/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=6;t=8263) one should help you out...

ive dealt with them quite a bit. free shipping on orders over 50 bucks.
that said, this is a much better - and safer - brake upgrade.

you could try rockauto.com
dirt cheap whore prices but quality names like beck n arnly, NGK, BOSCH, federal mogal, etc etc from personal experiance if you buy in bunch like 10 items their always always cheaper (buy smart if you buy from the same wharehouse where your ordering another part it comes out pretty cheap because you pay shipping once)
an example had to order parts for the Z i bought 300$ worth from RA had it been from autozone or napa easily 500 in parts.
