Flashy Engine check light fix

Ok so I have been helping out a friend of mine with multiple ECU trouble codes and as we we going throuh them one by one trudgeing tward the ultimate 55 we were having problems with the flashy check engine light. One of the codes was 33 exaust gas sensor circuit, or O2 sensor. We ran the test it checked out fine, cleared codes got to 55, but still had the flashy check engine light. Decided to swap out o2 sensor with OEM nissan part and found out the one in the car was Bosch not OEM. No more flashy check engine light.
Maybe it was just a bad connection, or maybe it was the Bosch o2 sensor, worth a look to you guys with the dredded flashy check engine light.

that's wierd, bosch usually does well.

yeah i have a flashy cel also, usually when i check it comes out to 32 33 34 12 45 then it goes away, comes back on every so n so
fuel injector leak
egr
knock
o2
vehicle speed sensor circuit opn
I'll be looking into when I feel like dishing out money for an oem O2 sensor.

Hmm...I would say possible bad connection on the O2 sensor. I found that if the ECM is not in Mode 1 for an S13 or has a loose connection will cause a flashy CEL.
