yeah, those are turnsignals for the type-x bumper, not anywhere near fogs! haha
those are fogs/aux lights from the Canandian S13. they're used as day time running lights.

They are indeed custom round fogs custom fit into the grills. I wouldn't recommend using the canadian DRL's for foglights. The lenses are plasic and are known to melt with high wattage bulbs, and the standard bulbs aren't bright enough to actually help in fog. Actual OEM foglights for the S13 240's look like buck teeth. :keke:

I know!!! thats why I want some custom fogs retro fit into the vents! I like my fogs they work great, but I dont like their position on the bumper, I know theres the Circular type fogs, and then theres mine, the square type foglights.
Does anyone have pics of circular fogs into the stock s13 vents?? Pics? Thanks

FYI, 89 and 90 S13s had foglights as a factory option. 91+ had provisions for it (prewired), but didn't list foglights as an option.
You will need to get the factory foglight switch and connector to the body harness, as well as the subharness that hooks up to the foglight circuit at the battery area. The main wiring and fuse has been provided.
Unfortunately, all these parts have been discontinued. Just an FYI :)

Can you take a picture of your factory foglight button? It's pretty rare. I've never seen one before.

why didn't you ask me directly since i own those lights... lol...
actually they are piaa extreme 002xt on the side/vent and some ebay projector in the middle.... they work ok until i got hid on my headlight which makes them useless since they got owned by my hids.

I cut my vent open then put a projector fog light that i got from kragen.
hmm.. im gonna go out right now to get a pic of them on. BRB
*EDIT* Just took pix, the vent has a large hole because of my previous fogs (they were wide and squared). I got lazy and used the same vent with the huge holes.

Bump back from the dead. I've been searching for a while now, and your post is the only one with the info I'm searching for.
My car is a 1989 and I have the OE fog light switch, I just ordered one at the dealership I work last month(guess maybe the stuff isn't discontinued?). It just came today and it goes underneath the pop up light button on the left side of the steering wheel. There was a connector that never had a home until now behind the bezel. So I plugged it in and it didn't short out, melt or catch on fire :). The fog light symbol lights up and everything. Now I have to hook up the wiring harness and I should have a clean factory fog light system :)
