The Injen intake for the 89-90 240 is an SRI (Short Ram Intake). They do not offer a CAE (Cold Air Extension) for that model because there isn't a spot for the filter below (bumper is in way I believe). AEM also makes an SRI for those years I think. The Injen intake is a better system, IMHO, because they have a special filter, which is unlike the others.
Enjuku does have the best prices on that, btw.

IF you can ge tthe whole cai at once and shipping is free then you will be ok,but i found a place that is cheaper from intakes.I can get teh injen intake sri for 188.40 shipped to the place. But injen imho is the best as well.

The only thing wrong here is he has an 89-90 which doesn't have the CAE available.

If you can make a custom cold air intake (which is fairly easy with the stock intake box and resonator...hint hint, use the resonator) But for the 89-90 I don't know if you can get down there near the front lip and such.

Good alternative is the Ivers intake or the hotshot intake. The 3" tube is the same as Injen's from what I can tell. 240sx.org has a group buy on the Ivers for $135 shipped, no tax.
