whats up i just put my other t25 on my s13 black top on last night since my other one blew which was running 7 psi... guess it was old anyways i put the other one on and its running 10-11psi i have a walboro fuel pump and and vspl fmic. I was thinking it was only suppose to run 7psi i dont have a boost controller far as i know my intercooler piping is all tight i havnt checked the wastegate its not dented or any thing .. possibly sticking though. I read a forum about running the vacume hose to the TB then to solonoid then to waste gate i dont know you will get 10-11psi that way but i got mine goin from tb to wastgate to bov the t is at the wastegate and bov. it was also a light back fire at idle kinda like a little poof poof sound. i have brand new ngk plugs they are gapped at like .32-.34 i think thats to much they are the ngk br7es i think copper plugs
but if anyone knows why it would be running at 10-11psi and what the gap on the plugs should be that would be awsome. thanks to any help

I know your gap is fine.... I might even run .030 is the actual measurement I think. But I think you get the idea. As for why it runs 10psi, maybe your old blacktop ran 7 psi on a t28 and then when you converted to a t25, that might be the vacuum it is for the waste gate? I am just taking a guess

yeah when it hits 10 psi it stays only thing i have noticed was that one bolt that holds the waste gate ...braket had a loose bolt not enough to mess w/ the fuction of it. I have only had the motor in for about 200 miles im about to drain to oil to make sure everything is ok with the motor. my front main seal is leaking i was thinking about trying some lucas stabalizer to help slow it down for a while. if i was to replace it is there anyway you can get by with taking off the pulley to get to it.

Ummm yah you can do it, but you have to take off the front shroud and fan plastic fan and you should be good to go. remember to tap everything in and make sure everything is straight while going in. Good Luck

not hard at all. You don't have to take off the front engine cover liket the FSM diagrams suggest.

what exactly is a boost spike? today i drove my car around and it sounded like my turbo intake was on the passenger side sucking air like crazy it wasnt running bad like piping came off it was a real loud pssssssh sound at like 3-5 psi. It also would stay at 5 psi til like 4500-5000 rpm and the go up to like 9-10 i dont know what is up with it it runs good but if im cruzing 5th gear 50-55 mph and floor it it just kinda creeps up to speed i guess i should just downshift to get the tubo spooling. it seems like it likes the high rpms-4-6 its pretty good. idk im gonna check my intercooler piping for the 3rd time its a greddy vspl fmic and the hoses seem to be falling apart like they got slits and shit in them i prolly should replace them. but thanks on the front main seal answer im gonna give that a try when i have some extra time .

yeah i got my shit right now as always its stupid things but i had one bolt that holds the wastegate inplace fall completly out and the other one came loose. so i reved on it and saw it move alot thats what caught my eye so put a bolt in tightend the other one and runs great smoother no hesitation picks up faster w/o downshifting. any ways it still pshing 10psi but o well there are no leaks i went back tightend all intercooller clamps and slid the piping as close as i could to each other. seems good now. i belive the psssh sound was the wastegate opening early since it moved alot
