I am in the middle of clutch swap for the first time.
I and my friends took the engine out this past weekend and have to leave it hanging on the engine hoist until next weekend.
Some may ask us why we took it out instead of working on the tranny under the car. I would say that none of us had big bicepts like you cali people do.
Any way, I was searching on the forum about Throughout Bearing swap but could not find enough info. What type of beaing puller do I need?
Do I need 3 jaw type or 2 jaw type bearing puller? How can I replace the throughout bearing with this tool?

The only "special tool" I thought I needed for my clutch swap was to pull out the pilot bushing. When asked a local mechanic if I could borrow a "pilot bushing puller" he laughed at me and showed me a trick.

(1) filll up the pilot bushing hole with thick ass grease

(2) Insert a clutch alignment tool (the plastic thing that comes with your clutch kit) into the top of the hole

(3) Tap the tool into the grease with a rubber mallet. the old pilot bushing will pop out by hydrolic action.

(4) profit...

Thanks a lot for the advice.
I heard about it before and tried it before posting the question here. The bushing didn't make it all the way out.
