Ok, its said that Rear Forward Traction Link Arms will help prevent bump steer.

How do you adjust them? I know they are adjustable. but what do I tell the alignment guys? Say I tell them, "hey I need an alignment, i just had one of them neat lil rear traction links installed, now ive gotta have it properly adjusted."

alignment guy will say "Toe is $30 bux, camber $60"

see what im saying? seems to me that the Rear Forward Traction Link Arms will change both toe and camber. What to adjust first?

wait wait wait.

rear forward traction link? you mean in the rear? don't you only get bumpsteer in the front?

anyways, all the arms in the rear are connected. i don't think you can adjust the traction link arms without adjusting the upper control arms. For good specific settings, you may want to search around and see what everyone else is running. Just tell them what you want (this may have to be at a race shop, as places like BigO and Midas can only give you the stock settings). and yes, alignment isn't cheap, but it is necessary

Unless your car is severely lowered and suffering from bumpsteer, leave them alone.
If it is, then you'll need to move them out slightly, keeping camber and toe reset as you go, and test drive it. There's a small point in the adjustment where you're right on, everyhting else is too much or not enough.

you can get a full alignment for $60 at sears. most places charge about that for a computer alignment.

That is till they notice you have a lowered car, and you have everything that needs to be adjusted.
I've found that most of the time the price will increase over the basic alignment that the suggest.

And even if so, you can't have them set you own specs without spending tons of money.

Find a local mom and pop style shop and have them align your car to the specs you want.

As for the traction rods, I'd suggest you left them near stock.

why has he been banned? Don't really care though. I am interested in his original question though. I have mine in, set to stock length. But I was wondering what affect it really has through the sus travel. I haven't really taken the time to see how it affects the wheel during travel. Any hints?
