Nice event but hella slow... I mean it was like 10min+ between some sets, and they didn't even start on time. Nice media whores tho... more/better than irwindale.

It was a good event, all of the drivers rankings were well deserved. Got to see Signal Auto's R34 tear it up on the track. They converted the R34 to RWD and did very well (1st prequalifying & top 16, placed 5th overall)
Some clips of the Signal Skyline:

That car went from Wangan Car -> Drag Racer -> Circuit Car -> Drifter
Quite a history behind Mad K's baby

Did anyone else think that Dai got robbed in his battle against Rhys? And Ross Petty got robbed by not making it into the top 16??? Other than that the judging was awesome, but i just couldn't figure out those things...

That appears to be the general concensus, but it happens everytime. Human judging that is not subjective is always prone to error.

The energy drink battle ended with Yoshihara brake-checking Millen in the hairpin, automatically advancing the Kiwi to the final against Hubinette. In the final, Hubinette employed the same trick that Yoshihara did – albeit, much more subtly – to force Millen into a rare mistake, handing the Swede the win.

My friend who went, said this and i partially agree that for the entertainment value (not actually driving the course) that the track layout sucked. Meaning = not that long, not enough turns, etc etc... were too used to the irwindale setup i guess.
