safc tuning!!!!

:confused: i have a 96 sr20det (blacktop) with some minor mods, the problem is i got a safcII but dont know how to tune it!!!!! i got a z32 maf 550cc injectors, nismo fuel press. reg. s15 turbo,aftermarket manifold and full 3" piping if anyone knows anything about this please help!!!!!!!!

Have someone local who knows what youre doing tune your setup before you blow the motor. We cant just throw tuning numbers out of the blue. BTW, make sure you get a fuel pump(ie walbro 255 or z32).

is the injectors and maf already on the car?
before you do anything as to increase or decrease fuel...get a wideband o2...
i have zeitronix.com wideband and it is awesome! the datalogging feature helps a lot!

yea i got a walbro 255 fuel pump and all the parts are already installed on the car, what is this wideband o2 your speaking of?

a wideband o2 sensor reads your exhaust gases to see what the motor's air fuel mixture is...u use the numbers read by the wideband to determine if u need to subtract fuel or increase it with the safc...usually the lower the number..the richer and the higher...the leaner...u dont want to go to0 lean on a stock motor because U CAN BLOW IT....

if u dont have a wideband, then u'll just be guessing when adding and subtracting fuel on the afc...
