Check this out,

Step on the brake the car pulls to the left. Let go of the brakes, it pulls to the right.

This is hella scary.

I think its the LCA bushing or tension rods. Or both.

Anyone got any insight in this problem?

brake master cylinder bad. and you need an alignment.

::ROFL::...bad master cyl? you gotta be kinding me. You are wrong.

I have to admit that my toe is off in the rear, but that shouldnt cause the abnormal pull.

It definitely feels like the wheel is moving backwards when im braking and moving forward/back into place when brake is released.

It can be your lower control arm ball joint thats loose it happen to me once and it messed the ball joint up real badly. Check if all the bolts are tight.

Check your steering rack bushings.

If the wheel is moving fore/aft, it's the tension rod bushing. If it's pulling in/out it's either the tie rod end or the balljoint.

My car had a similar prob...was the ball joints. Maybe you got a kink in your brake lines or caliper siezed?

Just curious, how does bad ball joints cause the steering wheel/rack to go from side to side? (Not saying you guys are wrong, I really just dont understand)

This would be a good thing, because Im in the middle of replacing my lca AND adding urethane steering rack bushings.

When it's busted or worn out it wobbles which will give you sporadic steering and brake pull. I noticed it when I changed my tierods.

ok heres whats happening. The bushing is bad, mostly. Took it to an under body specialist. My assumptions were right. The bushing is bad, the wheel is moving back and forth while braking and release of brake. It moves the steeering wheel.

Its hella scary. Whats the canadian site that sells whiteline stuff and control arms?

Im trying to find them, pdm something...fergot.
