No one with less than 300 hp I dont think. underpowered cars had a rough time. Not even the good Hachi drivers were doing that great.

Yea low angle drifts combined with low whp = drifting pretty.

I am sad to find out that hiro ate the wall a little bit. I was happy to know that he was able to repair his car.

I just received word that Toddimus blew a tire and fought the wall.

After a long, fierce battle, the wall defeated Todd. :(

Hubart broke his diff and his tranny, and Hampton ate it too.

Poo. :(

Luke, a little birdie tells me he placed 11th in Qualifying, and crashed this morning during practice.

Yea i know he qualified 11th. but that was for the non seeded drivers. then on sunday they would have competed for the top 32.

Still trying to figure it out.

I thought you're not allowed to run a motor different from your chassis in Formula D? Just wondering....

nope. todd and i were at the formula d meeting in las vegas a few months ago. The disbanded that rule, but it may change for 2007.

Todd did great! I didnt get to see the crash I showed up right after it happened. Team cooper had a rough time but also had a pretty good showing. I think about 1/2 the cooper cars crashed :)

*tear* for the s14 that was grazed by the wall on saturday during 1st practice. break out the welder brainfood and get some sheet metal, unless the trunk is crumpled.

Thanks yeah the trunk is crumpled I am not sure what I am doing yet might yank it out myself and drift it that way. The exhaust is bouncing off the ground because it got kinked but it still runs and drives straight and no suspension damage so not sure yet it I am keeping this chassis or looking for a new one or building the s13. Really need to find more power though the stock ka is not going to be competitive with the big dogs. :)
edit: Yeah just looked under to see how bad it is the frame rail in the rear is crumpled and not straight anymore I am going to hook it up with a come along and see if I can get it somewhat straight or at least liveable if it doesnt work I wll be looking for a new chassis or getting the body shop to pull it straight.

Yep, he hopped on the wagon cause there was still room.

It also had to do with the fact that drifting is much cheaper than professional drag racing. He felt that he had accomplished what he needed to in the drag racing scene and wanted to try something different. AEM is actually saving a lot of money by getting into drifting.
