This is the first time changing those new registration stickers on my truck where the sticker, and goo, did not come off in one pull. The other cars' stickers have always come off simply since they never sit outside in direct sunlight--therefore, the glue is never a problem coming off the windshield. Now my truck has gooey $h!t everywhere on the inside windshield and the razor is not getting it. I already tried drying it out with rubbing alcohol with little to no luck. That stuff just doesn't want to come off easily. Is there some Goo-B-Gone solvent that will make this job easier in the future? Thanks in advance.

try rolling some scotch tape around your finger, and then sticking it to the goo and pulling off. After doing it a few times it usually fixes the problem.

I tried the tape and it didn't work.
You mean to tell me there actually *IS* something called Goo Gone? I'll have to go check it out. Thanks.

Wow! I didn't know such a product (Goo Gone) existed. Went to the store and that gunk came right off. Brilliant!
While admittedly charcoal lighter fluid or gasonline works, I have had trouble living with the short term smell/fumes in the cabin. It usually takes longer than I have patience for.
Thank you everyone. This is something I will keep in the house since it also says that it takes off crayon, gum and even...lipstick stains. BTW, it did wonders on the residual glue left behind after peeling off the dealership stickers off the tailgate. Woo-hoo!

If you don't have Goo Gone nearby use some Peanut Butter. Seriously, it's amazing for removing sticker goop. ...and no, this is not an April fools joke. It realy realy works!.

+8 for goo gone
used that shit at my last job(the good guys) all the time to take price tag holder gunk off of stands and glass and stuffs. works wonders.
1)apply goo gone
2)let sit for like 1-5 minutes
3)use a razor to scrape that crap off
4)done.
