up for sale is my 1989 240sx with a ca18det completed swap. the $3,000 clip came in with 50,000 KM on it, which translates to 31,000 MILES! this swap runs great. the motor has had under 5,000 miles put on it since the swap. (so, it has under 36,000 miles on it to date)
the swap was done in chantilly by redsh!ft dc. they do really great and clean work. i'd recommend them to anyone. as you will see in the pics it looks like the car came out of the factory with this motor.

also on the car is a vlsd that came off the same car. also has under 36k miles on it. locks up great. i took it for a 2 minute test slide :) but by no means has this car been pushed or mistreated.

the motor is also sitting on nismo motor and trans mounts.

i will also throw in a GReddy manual boost controller. its not hooked up though.

the 89 shell is asthetically hurting. here are the reasons i listed this as a "project" instead of just calling it a car for sale:

* needs a front bumper
**** roof, hood, hatch, and headlight covers are flat black. driver fender and rear bumper are white. the rest of the car is charcoal. lol.. yeah its confused.
* needs a catback. currently it's running open downpipe.
* the frame has some rust on it. i am looking into fixing it before i sell actually so hopefully sometime this week the rust will be cut and new metal will be welded in. i'll post updates later.
**** there are a couple holes in the driver side "sideskirt" area because the previous owner cut out some rust.

i think thats it.. ill edit if i remember anything else thats important.

asking $3500 obo. lowballers will be asskicked :wavey: haha. all reasonable offers will be entertained. i wont ship or arrange towing or anything. thats all up to the buyer.

**** if you're worried about the colors and missing body panels... if you get a bumper and side skirts (if you want to cover the holes in the side), i will paint the whole car for you for $300 extra (INCLUDING THE COST OF PAINT AND SUPPLIES!!) . i have my ways :) i guarantee it will last for years and look good. your choice of color. if you're not satisfied with the paint results i will refund $150 to you.

UPDATE: i'm taking the car into my friend's shop to get the rust fixed. he has very limited time though, so it will probably be a few weeks before it's completed. anyway, after this, the ONLY issues the car will have is it needs a catback, and it is kinda ugly lol

what was the factory color on this car??

and do i have to send you a bumper and sideskirts in order for you to paint it?

one more thing, whats wrong with the interior? it looks like its missing everything but the seats and steering wheel.

it was originally charcoal (you can tell cuz thats what the quarter panels are)

yeah its pretty stripped. it was stripped before i got it... but i didnt even think about mentioning it because i strip all my interiors anyway. i forgot thats not normal lol

well if youre really gunna buy it we can work together to find a bumper and skirts. i can source them if you want.. but you gotta tell me what you want and how much you can spend on them. i actually was gunna buy this pignose bumper w/ oem lip. but whatever you prefer, it can be worked out.

but some money from the sale will have to be fronted for this. i didnt put the reason i'm selling up, which is to pay off a large debt. so i dont have the money to buy anything with. i cant even put gas in my car lol. anyway, if anyones real serious this will all be worked out then

thats cool, i acutally just made a deal to get all the rust fixed. it will take about 3 weeks to complete as it is a side job and it's low on the shop's priority list. i cant afford to be higher on that list lol.

so i wont be able to sell it until it comes out of that anyway.. but hey it'll be rust free!
