Ok people, well I have been on this forum for a long time i just dont post so you probably havent seen me before...anywayz, i am looking to get my first car soon, and i dont know what i am going to get (parents are shooting down my ideas of getting a 240 cause there is no airbag? i think it is bullshit) but i am also a vw fan, and being on vw forums has really gotten me into the style of super low, clean cars. I love that 240 coupe in the first generation section of the zilvia picture section (the side view of the black one) and am wondering exactly what is on this car cause i think it just looks so good (obviously it is low) does it have a jspec conversion? what kind of side skirts, and is there a front lip made for s13 coupes? also anyone have pics of cars with similar styles to this???

I think that your talking about his one.

That is the Japanese version of the S13. You can buy the JDM front ends off of Silvia's and put them on 240's. It probably has Bomex side skirts (its a little shady, although Bomex is a big brand in Japanland)

thanks for the links, yea i am from denver, colorado. I have seen some in the paper. Another problem my dad is nagging me about is the rear wheel drive in the snow...so i dont know well see how it turns out, what kind of rims are those on that 240 on this site, they look like they got a pretty big dish. And also how much does a silvia s13 conversion cost?

i dunno which 240 you are asking about, but if its mine it's in mint condition.. perfect outside, inside, and engine... i'll be posting pics next week.. the sold it for a grand because the tranny was broken.. only after looking at it.. there was nothing wrong with the tranny.. all i had to do was replace the TPS (40 bucks) and it was fine!!! hehehehe thats what you get for selling a car cheap without being sure of whats wrong with it! i got the deal! $1040,00 for my 240, coupe 92 SE! 115K miles.. i was very pleased!

also the engine was in runninge condition all it needed was the timing chain replaced

hmm u live in chi-town too right? Where did you find it, I will be looking for a 240 w/ a blown motor or very high mileage, but a hatch over the summer for my project. I need to save up up over summer and hopefully have an SR powerd 240 before the end of the year and in time for the start of the new autox season

I know that my 92 Coupe does not have airbags, just those annoying automatic seatbelts. I got mine for $2300 and it was in great condition, but it had a little hail damage. 67,000 miles.

I bought my coupe 2 years ago for $8500 with 23000 miles on it ( yes it is actual). I live just se of Wichita, Ks.

There are quite a few 240s running around out here but no one is tuning them. Coupes are few and far between.
Pricing is fairly low because everyone here is buying acuras and hondas. Don't know what they're missing!!

Well, maybe i am wrong about the whole airbag thing, but does anyone know exactly what years were equipped with airbags, cause i thought 91 nx's had airbags so it wouldnt actually make sense if 240s didnt would it? do ses maybe have airbags. Someone please enlighten me, and can someone give me informatin on s13 front end conversions, what is needed, cost, difficulty of labor, are their full conversin kits?
