found a guy selling a 5 speed transmission.. only it! i am going to go over his place 2morrow and negociate.. what is the maximum i should pay for it considering its only got 55k miles on it!

he is asking $250,00 for it! does it sound resonable?

im not gunn abe a smart ass so im gunna guess that it isnt really $250k...if u check the fos ale forum i saw a tranny going for like 500 or sum shit &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

that's how much he's asking.. he'a a friend of a friend... and i know his car.... he's going to get an sr20 swap... so i asked him if he'd sell the tranny... just the tranny.. nothing else.. he said.. yeah.. for $250.. is that too much or that good? i couldnt really understand your previous post! &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sigh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':rolleyes:'>

o 250...yay thats a good deal....im my perivious post i said i wasnnt gunna be a smart ass and point out the fact u put 250,00 making it 25k for a tranny &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

i thought you said you were getting your friend's tranny for free (he wrecked his car)? That was at another one of your posts sometime ago. anyways, that didn't work out or what? good luck anyhow.

yeah.. i had a guy check it out and there were toooooo many miles on the tranny and it just wasnt that good of an idea to take that tranny out and put it in my car.. the clutch was good... like i said.. but the tranny nahh... i might still take his clutch.. depends.. we'll see how things work out.. im not in a hurry to do the swap.. first i'm gonna get all the parts.. slowly and patiently.. and then i'll swap it...
