oil pump sr20det

is there any oil pump upgrades for the sr20det? my friend just blew his motor and the oil pump is the suspect. if we are going to tear into the bottom we want to upgrade everything

There are a couple of japanese company who does but i cant remember which ones exactly. There isnt a lot of them, Tomei or Toda or JUn makes one i think. They are expensive as fook, roughly in the ball park of $1200 iirc. Stock ones good enough, if anything invest on a brand new one. $250 from phase2 when i bought mine 2 yrs ago.

a brand new one will give you alot of pressure. i see about 5 bar when cruising at 2500 rpms. thats around 70-75 psi.
