o god another thread about altima efan, i wish i didnt have to do this but I have run into some weird things. first of all lets start off by the wires and what I was told is what they do
Yellow - Power
Blue -Power
Green- ground which is in the same bundle as the yellow
Black - Ground which is in the same bundle as the blue
so I was told that when you hook up the yellow and both grounds, then it will be on low. which it is. then if you also hook up the blue with the yellow, then fan will be on high, I didnt try that yet, but one thing i notice is if I take off one of the grounds, then the fan works on high, so 2 grounds low, one ground high, so if it works like that, why did they need the 4th wire. they can do this with only three wires. there must be a reason they decided to go with 4. So I had yellow connected to hot, and green and black hooked to ground, then i realized this is blowing air out to the front of the car, so I decided to wire yellow to ground and green black to hot, this keeps it on low and also reverses the fan to blow air out, but having 2 hot and one ground seems like maybe a bad thing. this might be very confusing but any help would be appreciated, basically everything works fine, each fan is hooked to a 30 amp fuse, and they seem fine, so i imagine as long as it works then it should be ok, theres no way that there would be an influx of amperage running through and being dissipated other than the blades spinning faster, and they arent spinning faster. its hard to explain, but maybe someone knows what i mean. I guess ill know if my battery dies but id rather not kill it if i dont have to.
