Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the headlights upclose. I am curious as to HOW clear they are. Basically I am wondering if they are worth the money because I was going to pull them apart and paint the housing black. I know that on USDM headlights you can't even really tell - even when they are clean. I was thinking that sense the German ones are glass - like the USDM Koukis - that they may be easier to see through, like the koukis.

If someone had a picture of a black housing German headlight that would be ideal.

Clear as glass. Why?

No offense I hope, but I'd personally hate to see a set of these "damaged" in an attempt to modify them. I know, it's your money, but completely clear plastic lenses are available for those that want "that look"

I believe though, to answer your question, that they have very similar aiming patterns to the plastic lenses we get here in the US. I don't think there's more "clear" areas.

Oh, and Courtesy Parts usually has them for sale (with photos) on their website...

Here's a picture of the final konnexion covers.. just as good as the Euro glass.

I was looking for something with the best of both worlds...the correct beam pattern of the stock USDM headlights and the clearness of the Final Konnexion lenses. I have heard that it is difficult/not possible to get the headlights to focus correctly with out the marks in the actual cover.
