no Silvia/coupe love there. Would the undercarriage differ from hatch to coupe. I know bumper and such are, but would the defuser be different?

Yeah, I plan on obtaining one of those myself...with the optional canards. And you could probably make a few simple mods to get it to fit a coupe

how much are those? I was thinking about possibly fabbing something like that up eventually since I bought a fastback body kit for my coupe (they don't make the one I want for the coupe, only for the silvia) so I don't have a rear bumper.

slownslurious, you'll probably have to import one through Jspec.com or some other importer

Those are definately a little much for a daily driver but for a track car would be really cool. Cool find.

email some one at bulletproofautomotive.com about that one. one of the guys forwarded me that site. There a universal diffuser, there is 2 different sizes to chose from and they run about $900 and there fiberglass, but in one of the pics i does look like cf.

thoes things are pretty retarded. that would be way easy to make out of aluminum and would cost like 20 dollars. plus when the inside part isnt even boxed off what the hell is it gonna do. just drag on speed bumps and shit. if you really want a carbon fiber one get the fd one that shineauto sells, its like 300 bucks

Wow you actually post something that is functional and adds more power or handeling and everyone shys away from it.....
You post up a useless diffusor that looks "cool" and most of the 240SX market is on it like spam on rice.......
Diffusor looks like garbage and you won't ever utilize it, cars that come stock with diffusors. Ferrarri, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche....cars that are pedigree......240SX's on the other hand are not and you'll never utilize them ok.....thanks, bye.

that thing is to much $$$. and iam sure it doesnt help sence it is universal, and its not designed for our cars. it probally has no wind tunnel testing.and would not make much diffrance if any at all.

I've seen your car are you really seriously going to tell me that you think something is stupid because its catered more towards cosmetic enchancement than race car practicality????

I'm indifferent, but a car would have to be balls out to pull it off and not look retarded
18/19 stagger, crazy aero, giant gt wing, super low
on the topic of it fitting with aftermarket bumper-the diffuser is frp. plug in the old dremmel maaan
be prepared to scrap that everywhere is pretty low O_o

? if i gave a shit, i would make an aluminum undertray like i already said. but hey, i dont.
but yeah if you have a basic grasp of fluid dynamics you will see how this piece does absolutley nothing.

Totally useless. The reason no one noteworthy makes one of this is pretty much fuel tank placement. for it to have any real effect on the aerodynamics of the car a. you'd need to have a flat bottom leading up the the diffusor, and b. the diffusor needs to start at least 1/3 of the way into the car. A little in front of the rear suspension. The rake angle would need to be much less too. But, as stated above the front lip looks pretty sweet. I'm even feeling the little gurney flap them make for the OEM rear spoiler. Kinda ugle but I'll bet it works like the Evo3 wings for the E30 M3s.
