alright its kinda hard to explain but i have a lug nut that is stripped on the end of my wheel stud so it doesnt turn. It was so hard to turn that while turning it i striped the splines of the wheel stud inside the rotor. now the stud just spins free in the rotor and the nut is stuck on the end. does anyone have any idea how to get it off? any suggestions welcome thanks...

Cut the stud off! You might even have to cut the wheel but then again what kind of wheels do you have?

BTW, you should also try taking the backing plate off and holding a pair of vise-grips on the back of the stud and spin it off with a gun....

You can probably get off the nut with an impact gun. If not, just break it off, and hammer in another one from a junkyard.

Yea, I agree with the impact gun, if you can't get to one, use a hammer and chisel to split the lug nut. It will take some effort getting in the hole good enough ,and pounding the lug in two, but it can be done, I did'nt strip the whole stud out, but I had one stuck , and I hammered it out this way. Good luck
