What happend to the Archive's that we use to have here? I looke for several things and its gone. If we can get another Archive made like we had a few years ago then we can always have the info we need.

I had to stop the page from loading, and I got the page to display regularly.

Or you could just follow this writeup:

1) Remove old hubs
2) Install new hubs

If you seriously need a writeup to install hubs then maybe you should quit eating glue for a few days.

Damn...I didnt know that LOL I was thinking it was a lot more to it than that, but then again maybe I was confusing that with a 300zx brake swap.

Maybe some day I will do a 5-lug swap with some s14 SE alloys...hmm...

Just find an FSM. If you're using replacement hubs they bolt in in place of your stock 4-lug hubs.

Just get Peak hubs. They bolt in just like your regular hubs. No need to swap anything else. Just get brakes and wheels and you're set.

here's another one.

hub swap using stock s14 parts on a s13 is not just swapping hubs. i'd also suggest you get aftermarket hubs. just to save yourself a slight headache.

hey i know that everyone does the z32 brake swap but what about the z31 does that work?

I don't think it's so much an issue of a Z31 swap working, I don't think they are anything special. Plus, I think they are 4lug.

The front hub swap on an S14 is as simple as it can get. Get S14 5-lug hubs, and put them on. The rear is not as simple because you need to remove most of the links on the upright, or remove the upright altogether to get access to the 4 bolts on the back. That and you need a monster socket (36mm iirc) to get the axle out.

The S13 front conversion can be done with aftermarket units that equip it with bearings that work on the S13 spindles. In all honest, it's going to be cheaper, and easier in the long run to use aftermarket hubs. PDM racing sells them.

....and if you run s14 componets up front on an s13 what modifications are needed?

I've read that you have to drill out the strut to fit the s14 spindle bolts....is this correct? And will s14 lower control arms work on an s13 in the front?

to use s14 hubs in fron you need s14 spindle, and yes, the strut bolts are larger on the s14. s14 LCA's will work, it will widen your track slightly

Thank you, but one last thing...

I don't have the s14 strut bolts, and I also don't want to drill out my struts. To avoid drilling and being able to use my s13 strut bolts, I can use the strut spacers that PDM sells...right? I'm pretty sure this is what I have to do, i just want to be sure...

Oh and here's a link to the spacers I was speaking of (till the bottom of page):http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/5boltconversion.html
