Speed Sensor Question

I know that this was covered in an old thread and I've been searching for the past 15 minutes with no luck. I have found MANY speed sensor threads but none really answered this question:

Will a JDM SR VSS in a SR tranny throw off the Speedometer in a USDM cluster since the VSS will be reading KPH and the USDM cluster is set for MPH?

yes you will need a usdm manual speed sensor to plop into your SR tranny for your speedometer to display the correct speed
