Digital Speedo not working HELP!

I swapped the tach and it works,all lights work,the speedo does not light up. Any suggestions? and YES IT CAN work with an SR,speedo and engine have nothing to do with eachother. Jus need help,maybe someone who has had this problem before...any help greatly appreciated :ughug:

Yeah, I had that problem. It was a blown fuse. Is it only the speedometer? Or the whole cluster? On mine it was just the speedo that didn't work. Replaced the little blue fuse under the dash. Sorry if this is wrong. Just trying to help.

My old digital speedo stopped working. I put in a new one, and no problems since. :-/

Nah not saying your wrong,more helpful than anyone else so far,ill go check that right this min...but yes ONLY the speedo is acting up,ill go look ill reply my result in a min or two.

Nope not fuse,anything else? Speedo only has 70k so no reason it should be dead...and little blue fuse? i didnt see any blue fuses in the kick pannel that had to do with the cluster...

My car is apart,someone help. the cluster worked when we took it out of the other car.

K problem is more complicated,turn signals dont show up,and the cluster does not light up as it would when i turn on the parking and /or headlights,suggestions please!

UPDATE...Cluster works,but problems continue...Door open light pulses when doors are closed,seatbelts dont move unless key is on,stereo doesnt turn on. FUSES ARE FINE,im highly frustrated and pissed off,so chist sakes help me PLEASE. I HAVE SEARCHED the living shit out of this site,drifting.com.240sxforums,240sxclub,nico and got nothing that has helped.

it's the capacitor on the speedo, they wear out, you need to replace it, i lazy to find the link, but there's a write up on some site, i believe me and undercoveredjay have posted it somewhere regarding hud/digital speedo not working.

Speedo/HUD works ,interior lights,stereo dont work,also tonight went drifting a bit and when i was on the freeway i noticed the dash lights shut off,HUD and speedo and gauges still working but then on again,then off,but still doesnt solve the interior lights,and stereo issue.

sounds like a simple grounding issue to me. check and clean all your grounds

Havnt had to deal with nissan wiring much before,is there a diagram or maybe someone know the location of these grounds?

ANYONE!? Telling me its possibly a ground is like telling me hey its that one guy in the United States,which grounds? Where do i look? The Subharness seems fine,fuses are fine,i even replaced the diodes today.

well it has to be with something that you touched or altered. I would look into the tach. Sorry I can't help more, I'm not a 240 guy

Nah the tach is fine and so is the cluster. I tryed to hook up the old analog and it didnt change anything...
Stereo still doesnt work,interior lights dont work,auto seatblets dont work unless key is on.
