Anyone have any imput on these? They're cheap, now I'm wondering if they're worth paying for or should I just buy some other name brand/quality ruca.

I actually have these RUCAS and the construction quality seems very good. The welds are VERY thick, and the end links are nice and beefy. Yes, I would've gone with SPL, but you can't beat $125shipped. Don't let the price fool you, it's not going to be that cheap for long, it's just a promotional thing.
I plan to attend ncda this year, so we should be able to see how they hold up.

Nope. Drift Factory Fail. Boycott that business. I dunno about peak performance suspension arms, but I've heard some mixed reviews on their hubs.
SPL. Done. No more worries. Had my SPL RUCAS for 2.5 years and no problems, still adjust fine, no seizing of the threads or the ball joint at all! Bravo.

Just remember you get what you paid for Trust me I learned the hard way. If you dont have enough cash for quality parts dont be cheap and get low cost parts. You end up paying more in the long run. This doesnt mean that im capping on project silvia ok you guys.

Why do you say that?
Just my personal disinterest with the company and their views. I have various reasons, one of which is my belief that they have no idea what they are doing, but pass it off like they do.
If they can prove me wrong, i will gladly eat my own words and kiss my own asshole, but I've never seen them on the right side of the pitwall. The only track events I've ever seen in the last 2 years of this "super drift car build up monster" is its haggard ass shell at their D1 booth.
Call me when they start actually drifting that thing. I'll be out doing the drifty and melting my ST115s. Like I've been doing. I know they advertise on this site. But that's like my opening up a shop called "Ferrari Works" and the only thing I've ever done is built a half-finished Tamiya 1:18 scale model Testarossa.
Sorry for the off topic.
But back on topic, I would also suggest Battle Version if SPL was out of stock or something. They have excellent customer service and also a great product. Those 2 companies stand behind anything they make and if a component fails on you, it will be replaced promptly without hassle.

Fair enough. Can't argue with the fact their super RB powered mega-lip wheeled S13 is still parked.
As a retail business they have not done me wrong. Fast shipping and all that good stuff.

yea BV for the win. I have all there linkage, got it as a prototype a few years ago. Daily drove with all of it for about a year then it all went on my race car. The RUCA's cracked because he hadn't prefected the methods yet, and he sent me a new set FREE!!!! You cant go wrong with BV or SPL. Both are great!

Understood. I have no experience buying anything from them, so I can not dispute that, I'm sure that there's no problem, i mean with all this competition, retailers have to be on top of their game.

Ok, here's the original page with the Drift Factory stuff. Straight from the Peak-Performance page. Their parts looks like good stuff. Their S14 that ran at the USA vs. Japan, but crashed, was doing very well up until the crash. Quite a few guys run thier stuff too. Ifyou're gonna get Peak stuff, go through Dynamic Autosports since Peak is based there too. Good customer service on thier part.

You have been warned multiple times about letting your personal problems that have nothing to do with the company leading you to harass our advertisers. This has nothing to do with the quality of product or service from Drift Factory. This is your personal beef of them not being cool enough your you. There are other personal issues also. But, I won't get into that here.
You are pink for 3 months after more than enough warning.

make sure they are teflon ball joints, i bought a set from powertrix, and within 1500 miles they were creaking and rattling. i ended up buying a new set of "upgraded" ball joints from them. Needless to say i was not happy about that.

I wish i could pink you for harassing me and trying to censor my beliefs.
"If they can prove me wrong, i will gladly eat my own words and kiss my own asshole." I have no problem admitting if i am wrong, how come you only quote part of my post?
Anyways, S14DB, apparently you feel i'm not worhty of a Zilvia membership and you attempt to publically humiliate me. Well ask yourself how many of the people responding to this thread have used their RUCAS for 2.5 years on a track race car, AND daily driven, and been around to see other companies arms fail at the track or seize on the road from the moisture? Can we take a poll or something?
Oh i must talk out of my ass, i have no experience with anything and I just come here to harass people. Come on.
I stand behind my comments and will gladly demonstrate the condition of my SPL RUCAS after 2.5 years of complete and utter abuse. Pics toi come after I eat some lunch.:werd:

Your personal beliefs are that you are gods gift to drifting and you can decide who is worthy of running a business.
This is totally based on the rejection of your advances towards one of the owners of the Drift Factory. Ever since then you have had a personal vendetta against them and seek to defame them at every opportunity you get.
If you make this out to be anything more than a deep personal problem you're full of shit. But, you have been good at Bullshitting over the years as a Navy SEAL.
It's time to put another layer of rainbow sparkles on your car cause you're loosing cool points here.

he said he was a navy seal? he's a college student!! his name is Lindsay yeah a girls name, deal with it.
Navy Seal? WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT ONE!!!!
i think your confusing him w/ Daniel ---another guy who's not even PG
you're an idiot.
get your people right!
you just proved you dont know WHO you are talking about or WHO you are talking to.
lindsay drives his car like a maniac at the track sometimes 2-3 times a month for the past i dont know...3 years? and goes to school full time as well.

he goes to an art school learning to design cars
no, he's a member of of Pink GodziRa
and is also in the Drift Alliance ACES programme thingie whatever thing they got going. i dontk now the details dont really care, ask him who he's w/ and the answer will be PG. the DA thing is because we are all good friends w/ the DA folks
he's always been in art school..never had a 'real' full time job juts part time doing art stuff for a few companies. he's only like 23 years old or something
he goes to school w/ Maeda, same school, got a few years till graduate.
i know this because we hang out every weekend and go drifting at the track regularly. for like..i dont know 4 years?
im sure he can write up a 2 page biography for you if you want, maybe a nice clear cover and maybe 1.5 spacing or something. times new roman font and stuff.
im off to work...lates

Oh NOOO!!! Thread is going off topic! STOP DEFAMING ME! MY REPUTATION IS CRUMBLING! NOOO!!!!! MEEELLTTTING!!!!!
Apparently its impossible to S14DB to be in 2 (or more) drift teams at the same time. I guess its impossible to have friends. And its also impossible to freelance work while you are still in school I guess. But you know... whatever.
I was never in or claim to be a Navy Seal. WTF is that all about. Hello Daniel. Hello 2 years ago when everyone called him out on that shit!
Hey S14DB you're gonna get pinked for airing your dirty laundry! Or um... having the wrong guy! I seriously think youi are confusing me with someone. Go check your sources. I never got rejected by anyone who owns DriftFactory, nor did i make any such "Advances" on them. You got the wrong guy, fella. And quite frankly I am very perturbed that you would defame me and slander me in such a way. Should I notify the proper administrators regarding your harassment?

So we can't express our personal views on an internet forum?
What country do we live in again?
Looks like bat country to me, because everythings topsy turvey.
What happened here? Zilvia used to be fun.
FUN remember that? We can't have real fun if we can't be honest with each other.
S14DB Your moderating abilities are under more scrutiny then princess lindsay's credibility, or may I should say "street cred" so the rest of zilvia can follow.
Your ass-hat assumptions and personal biases have very little to do with moderating. Aren't you supposed to be impartial and objective here?
If this kind of censorship continues i'm afraid i'm going to have to take my free time elsewhere.
