Did my conversion this weekend using research I did on here and other sites. I only have a couple questions that I couldn't find the answer to.

Where the clutch pedal bolts under the dash there is an orange box with what looks like a buzzer in it.

1. What is it and what does it do?

2. Do I still need it with the manual tranny in now?

Thanks for the time

Phil

do you have pics, and why do you want to remove it, is it in the way of anything?

I can take pics later this week..>The car is over at a friends house. Either need to remove it or find a new place to mount it. It originally bolted to the same spot as the clutch pedal would.....Now theres a clutch pedal there so it doesn't bolt up anymore.

I threw it away when I did mine and everything works great but I also have a fully gutted interior so if it was part of the ac, heat, power belts, or door dinger(because mine does not work) than I would not have noticed its importance, but my power windows locks and mirrors work.

I believe it's a door dinger, it has a little speaker in it.
I just moved it over by the fusebox.
