i have my rotora 4piston big brake kit installed in my front along with 5 lug conversion, and it perform pretty well but there is only one problem...
whenever i turn hard, such as spining U turn or fast into tight corner, the brake lose pressure (like half) on the first brake after that, however if i pump it goes back to normal like nothing had happened. what problem could it be coz it feel kinda insecure if wanna stop right away after a corner, any idea or suggestion? my friend said its becoz it has a ss brake line, but y?

Check your brake lines. Make sure they're not kinked when you turn.

kinked? what does it mean?

Kinked means pinched. It's not a sexual term if that is what you are thinking. LOL. And other than the turning does it break the same, if it does it sounds like air still in the lines, rebleed them if so.

also check the caliper mounting bolts and your lug nuts, make sure they are all tight.

Don't listen to your friend.

Re-bleed the lines just to be sure

oh yeah...how much were the brakes, and can you post pics!?!?

Why did you go with those, and not 300zx??? just curious....

I was thinking knock back but generally you dont get that WHILE hitting the brakes...

Do those require use of an upgraded master cylinder / brake booster?

:eek3: that's kinda what i was getting at, but i forgot about the wheel bearing being a possable cause. I also didn't realize there was an actual name for the occurance.

with fixed brake calipers, usually a quick tap of the brake pedal before really hitting the brakes will ensure better braking...

when I tracked my car with a BBK after corners on the straights I would tap the brake pedal to get everything back in place before the next corner...

Are you still running the stock brake master cylinder? If so then I'd upgrade it.

check your bearings, check your fluid level.
