Check it out. Pretty neat huh?

looks like it, but the first runner doesnt look to good

doesnt look all that great for performance, the way the runner dump into the others at 90 degrees cant be good for flow. But then I'm no engineer.....

+1 for those 90 degree angles. looks pretty crazy though

May as well leave the flange off of it.... performance will be about equal.
Did they run out of pipe??

Yah, any actual flow figures on this design?

i like that design. If it actually flows better than stock, i would get one.

ya man i'm no engineer either but 90s cant b good for flow, which is why a strighter exhaust, or one with less or less severe bends produce bigger gains?

I'm hoping that is just an experiment in welding. :duh:

90* bends right out of the manifold shouldnt be a problem, the crazy off collector lenghts suck though, make it equal lenght, or close to it, and make #1 connect to #3 and #2 and #4 connect instead of the order those are in.

Medusa style manifold  that manifold would not be ideal for a NA engine cuz you need free flow not restriction, thats unless its done right Medusa style manifolds are very popular for turbocharged engines but like I said those crazy bends will rob HP.

That looks like it's straight out of tetris or something with those crazy bends.

what a weird design...1 dumps into 2, 3 dumps into 2 and then it looks like 2 dumps into 4

Thats my problem with it not the bends..
It looks like the pipes from Mario

Im suprised none of you noticed that it doesnt dump anywhere but into the 4th runner going into the engine. So its obviously a joke that flew by all of you. Reminds me of the time Luke took a huge ass turbo and bolted it to his sr and everyone believed that he was going to run it.

Yea are mike and i the only people that realize all the tubes are going out of one cyl and back into another. haha.
The guy that built it should try it. hahahaha :rawk:

I'm surprised that you didn't notice that someone already said that. :Owned:

That's why I wrote that he needn't even bother adding a flange.

You can't really see #4.. and maybe.. its.. not.. finished yet?
But still.. poor design.

That's gotta be a welding project.....I am amazed.
its CARBs new method of keeping emissions in the engine!

looks great in an artistic way. But seeing how thin those pipes are it ain't gonna last.

Wow... way to completely miss the entire thread above you. the tube thickness is the LEAST of whoever would be stupid enough to run that's worries.

Its for a Hyundai. In short, he was told it was crappy, revised it, still crappy, going to redo it with a collector now instead of that wierd thing going on.

None of the runners share equal lengths. Cylinder 1 looks like it might burp and fart a little too much....
If that is a (Conceptual design) I wonder where the turbo would go. But yeah it does look like 100% back pressure if there is no down pipe. I think it could of been a serious concept to somebody.....
infinitexsound
03-28-2006, 09:51 PM
if it burps and farts like a subie... it definetly would sound obnoxious like a rotary... freakin snow mobile chain saw.....

shows what you know!! fucker!
your an ass to other people so ill be a ass:rl:
the downpipe does not go on the turbo manifold. it bolts up to the turbo. so why dont you see a downpipe? cuase it doesnt bolt to the turbo.
