HAHA So whats up guys, hope yall are doin well. I guess this is my informal introduction I hope to become a better member to zilvia and be able to contribute to the board more often. Well Ill start off with tell ya bout the title...
First 240 was a red s13 138k miles on it 5spd, CLEAN, SE, '92, completely stock:
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b45/brunswick240/Picture001.jpg
Second one was a '95 Base, I did a 5 lug conversion, z32 30mm aluminum front calipers with drilled and slotted rotors and stainless lines, 3inch custom cat-back to a $210 APEXi N1 muffler (damn summit), AGXs, S Techs, stereo, and strut bar. No engine modifications to this one either, but at least I did something to it:

Third...Some of my friends say this one was a mistake, others say it's cool, I personally am undecided on it, i love it but hate it at the same time. This one all the money went to the turbo kit, finished the turbo kit after 4 months of laziness + hard work (ya i know contradicting). Body is decent, had some paint imperfections, didnt really bother me, I was boost hungry :D. I do have to admit the car is a blast and I dont even wanna drive it anymore now that Ive got another stock 240. But overall it was an amazing learning experience, and showed me how much modding cars depended on the money you have...Well heres the pic for that one:

Heres the fourth, a 95 SE 5spd, COMPLETELY STOCK! This time Ill have coilovers and other suspension goodies off the bat and maybe paint the hood black...whadda think? Then its turbo time haha (dunno what engine im goin with this time). First pic is the first day I got it, second pic is photochop. The car has the wheels painted gunmetal now, looks a lot better in real life, ill add some more pics to the pic thread when I get em. Enjoy:

FLAME ON!
P.S. The new s14 is painted "BMW Silver". Looks kinda cool but the car was owned by a mid-aged lady who had a ton of glitter put into the clear coat. And yes that is a twin turbo z32 in the background --- only 69k on it timing belt done, up next ashspec ecu tune and exhaust :D haha unfortunately thats not mine, it belongs to my father and boy let me tell you does he baby that thing haha, but I would too ;)...Do you guys think I could wet sand the clear coat off and then just respray a new clear coat on to get rid of the glitter?

I don't wanna be an asshole, but first thought that comes to mind is daddy. His dad does own what seems to be a mildy tuned z32, so i wouldn't doubt he can fork over some cash here and there for his son. I'm just jealous though, cuz I busted my ass to buy my car, and here he is with his 4th.

HAHAHA Good one Rick...oooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr not...hrmmm yaaa not sure if you realized it, but you can make a pretty penny selling a 240. Especially if you have a couple things done to it (Sold my first s14 for 4500). No youre wrong, my parents have not helped me with any of my 240s, I have done all the work myself and payed for all of them myself. Whether or not you decide to accept this is up to you...I do not hope to start immature agruments with you about this, if you want to talk and test me or something to ease you mind youre welcome to. My email is
[email protected], and my aim is brunswick240. Go ahead doesnt bother me, itll keep me from gettin bored.

What are the prices you paid for the S14? if you sold it for 4500 then thats pretty good. Over here in Socal and im sure some other people can voutch with me on this one but for a Stock ass S13-3K and up S14 5K and up. SO what are you plans one for a daily and the other as a track beater or you just going to go all out on both?

the paint looks like booty on the silver one, looks like base coat then cleared
why brag about having more than one? maybe if you got 5 figures for each of the 240s then maybe...

sorry to say it, but this thread is hella lame. there is a reason why we have an introduction thread: so we don't have to see all these bullshit intro threads. there's like 25,000 members here, we don't need intro threads for every one. post pics in the pic thread.

actually Rick your figures are a little off. Stock clean S13 ceiling height price wise is $3500 anyone who pays more needs their head examined.
95-96 S14 stock $3500-6k depending on condition. 97-98 $7-9k stock at this time in socal. Now you get into modded cars and it changes depending on whats done. I.E. Silvia front end on s13 prices go up, etc...

Azzazzyn: I have had absolutely no help from my parents what so ever. The reason I was able to have so many 240s is because I shop around very carefully, and here in OH they arent as big as in CA, I bought that 1st s13 for 2600, bought the green s14 for 2500, bought the black s13 for 2000, bought the silver s14 for 2400. A lot of it has to do with luck, but I did a lot of waiting, when I turned 16 I was the only one outta all my friends that didnt have a car for 7 months, then I found the red s13 which got me into the 240 scene. Then s14s grew on me and I found the green one from a college student that was leaving the country that week and needed to get rid of the car. The black s13 was local my friend was actually gunna buy it but he moved before making up his mind, and I thought I wanted another s13, plus on top of that I was in debt to my brother whom I needed to pay off. So I sold my s14 for 4500 and bought the black s13 for 2000. Put some new tires on it, replaced a couple parts, had some fun with my friends and found my self left with 800 (You do the math 4500 - 2000 (taxes are included in there too)). So I was lucky to find a homemade SR turbo kit for the KA and thought I could use xmas money to get my safc and other parts I needed...I got 60 bucks for xmas so I just saved that and waited till my bday (Feb) and ended up gettin somewhere around 120 from my family (includes aunts, uncles, and grandparents...my parents were kind enough to pay my $60 insurance bill for that month and didnt give me any money). So I finished my turbo kit scrapping money together here and there, saving everything I got. Now I found another s14 from a mid-aged lady that I just couldnt resist. So I borrowed more money from my brother (2400 havent gotten tags or anything for it yet) which I will pay him back after I sell my s13. So no my parents didnt help me out at all, I mean if you really really wanna get technical ya they did, once but that was it. I pay for my insurance, my own gas, my own everything. I dont have a card from mommy and daddy like a lot of my friends do, my parents are raising my just like they were raised by their parents. So please, dont think that that Im one of those kids that go around saying "mommy and daddy bought me a new car". Because I'm not, Ive payed for every single part, fluid, and peice that has gone onto and into these cars, I have spent late nights working on them while my friends were out drinking and partying. No it doesnt bother me, I love 240s, and I love working on them. I have not taken any of my 240s to any shop for anything at all. Ive done things from wiring radios to dropping oil pans. Ive gotten pretty far and I can proudly and honestly say it has NOT been handed to me. I believe I have earned every bit of knowledge and experience I have gained from pouring my sweat, blood, and tears into my cars. I can truthfully say that this s14 will stay with me for a long time, Ive found a car I feel attached to and feel I have a connection to. I dont think it will be as easy to give this one up as it was the others. Thanks for taking the time to read this, sorry for the long post, but I just had to clear my name. If anyone wants to hold me to these claims, like I said before, you are more than welcome to. My email is
[email protected] and my aim is brunswick240. Have a good one,
