whats the hot pipe for?

hot pipe goes from the turbo outlet to intercooler inlet for both oem sidemount or aftermarket fmic. it's 'hot' cuz air coming out of the turbo are pressurized w/ high temperature... the pipe fits all sr20 swaps in s13 chassis
