So I finally sat down with my Sprinter, and gained enough money for my S-15, all in one day I have EVERYTHING, minus the LSD and Brake Balance Controller. And now sit at a 11.7 (400m) and about 220mph (max speed) with 500 and some odd HP. What I dont know alot about, and bugs the shit out of me is suspension. How can I make my S-15 corner better? I got the $44,000 slicks and performance breaks.... but Apricot Hill is fucking me up!! Any suggestion?

Bty, I now have $155,000 to kill, any suggestions on a good ride? Cornering is a MUST. I have my thoughts about saving up some real money for a "RUF" or just going with the good ol' R-34 II...

Umm there are a few sites if you search for that will have good settings for you. You can eithe get drift setting or grip settings. I am not too good at making my own settings in that game.

The cars I suggest are:
RX-7 - just because I love those cars and they are fun to play with
Skyline R34 - Crazy fast wen up to 1000+ hp
Skyline R32 - same reason as RX-7 (and i think you can use in 80's sports car cup)
300ZX - only reason is because you can do 80s sports car cup, plus i love the sound of it

Skylin will probably get u the farthest wen fully souped up, you can do a lot of races with it. Good thing to do is save before u buy a car and test out some cars and see what you prefer.

buy that LSD for one, that will help out a lot!
i set the spring rate all the way up, drop it all the way, set the bound a rebound all the way up, sway bars all the way and that's all.

oh yeah, the RUF's don't handle well at all, and they feel like they only have one brake.

i know the rufs are quite a bit more than your 155000, but try to buy one, than throw dirt tire on it and dominate ALL the rally races, youll win the escudo, either keep it or sell it and trick out the ruf. each car you win in the rally races are like 70g's so youll make your money back. do a couple enduros( the ruf( the best one ctr2 i think) will shit on everyone, just a lot of time like an hour or so, and your all set. try to get the nissan road car, sickest car in gt2(in my opinion) well, have fun and remember CHEVY LUMINAS ROCK, j/k, later,

Yeah... I've pretty much done it all in that game.
8 million dollars, 178 cars in my garage. Race cars, Road cars, Indy cars, Rally cars, Prototypes, Touring cars...
Anyway.. I started with the PT Cruiser... cuz I could afford it. Then to the Sprinter Trueno cuz I won it. Then I raced and saved for the 3000gt vr4. Race, mod, race, mod. Then I had everything for it, and 1044 hp or so. Then I bought a RUF RGT. The 2nd to best one. Not the 911 lookalike. The Carrerra lookalike. Raced the hell out of that, cuz it gets 1090hp and handles like a dream. Then I started rallys with my 3000gt, and won them. And bought the million dollar escudo. And won all rallies, and won another damn Escudo. Then I raced some endurance races. Well.. the oval track speedway a lot. I put a shampoo bottle on the accelerator of my escudo, and got drunk... and passed out, and woke up, and talked to friends.. and won. I think every 20 laps it pitted itself. Anyway... won a Indy car, and have demolished the game ever since.
Mileages: 3000gt - 1577 miles
               Ruf RGT- 1480 miles
Escudo - 503 miles (my endurance car)
               Indy car - 998 miles
R34 skyline - 640 miles (only car I found to get a displacement upgrade, lol)
           Total game mileage: 9749 miles
That was split into crap like Vitz's and Minis and stuff.
Soo.... those were my popular cars.. and how I got them.

See when I first got GT3, I wasnt hanging.... I have 18k to my name, and I was rocking a Sprinter.... the hell is that about. When I first picked it up had had more money in GT2 then I knew what to do with. Its like rocking your R-34 and RUF's to a god damn Sprinter....and broke.... so It took me a lil while to get into it.

camber is the key, so is toe Play w/those are you'll notice a difference in the corners. I put a lot up front, but then again i'm just drifting instead of racing most of the time.

The silvias are mad tail happy so drifting them is the only way to go. You can stop them from being tail happy by turning up the traction controll but that kills your speed. The key to running the silvias fast are to run very precise lines (pratice on the free run in the arcade mode) and throtle controll. The car will always want to powerslide just countersteer and full throtle out. It's just like driving my 240

you can get over 1100hp out of the Lotus Esprit 30th anniversary car. very cool. We have almost every car on the game (except those damn indy cars.. Can't find them) b/c we have a game shark, and got like $10 Billion . The professional races are hard as shit, but fun.

The Vipers are hot. specifically the Team Oreca, and the Prototype. I personally LOVE my BLACK Type-X S13 w/ 500+ hp she's even got White TE37's.. mmmmm.. It's my drift machine!

The Mugen NSX is badass too.

Man, ver since I got my GT3 I can't stop playing. My first car was the Miata....average powerwise, but can handle with the best of them. I have lots of cars as of now...mostly turds, but the favs are:

.835 hp Skyline R32 Top speed holder so far with a 230.1mph
.5**hp 240sx mc
.Mines Lancer and a Laner I built myself....so far has proven to be one of the best handling cars..on dirt or track
...and the 6**hp Mustang Cobra......very nice

got a long ways to go though. I'm aiming to have evry badass car possible to get on the game......one day

Cheapest way to beat the game is keep doing the same race tilll you have enough for an R34. Then keep saving up to mod it to 1000 hp. Then do an endurance race (super speedway), until you get the F1 car. Then juss sweep asmany races as you can away. Then buy specific cars for the specific races.

That's the cheap way. The fun way is start with a Treuno, then keep doing races till you get the Treuno Apex S.S. (not sure of the name, the one with the cf hood). Then get drift setting from internet and learn to drift good, hoepfully u have a steering wheel. Then keep drifting till your done.

Cars you must have:
NISMO Skyline GTR S-Tune (R32)
NISMO SKyline GTR R-Tune (R34)
NISMO 400R
Mazda RX-7
300ZX (I love the sound of the car)
Toyota MR-2
Chamelion colored NSX (I think you have to win it)
Tommy Kaira ZZII (I think thats it) it is the car with the RB26, it even sounds the same
Turbo F1
Corvette C5R (great car despite it bieng a domestic)
Silvia S15
Silvia S13

Another thing that I did juss for the heck of it was get all the JUN cars and make em yellow with the gold rims (the exact oens are in there somewhere). So I have the JUN garage in there. This is the greatest game in the world and can't wait till the GT Online comes out. I juss wanna go and see some of the master drifters out there.

Does anyone know how the hell to get the super licsense. Because I've beat the game up to that. My garage is full (200 cars) and I've beat every race at least once.

S license is very doable. It took me a hell of a while. Shit, the final race in S license had me there for like 8 hours. I must admit its hard, but when the day is over and you can say that U beat it, it sure as hell is more meaningful than just cheating. Trust me,if I can do it, anybody can. Im no expert at the game. Just comes down to luck and practice practice practice

Ok guys. If you are really into cars, why can't you beat a silly game? The S License took me maybe 1-2 hours to beat! The fastest car in that game is the Escudo Pikes Peak. 311.6mph. You have to reduce all downforce etc and get the sticky tires, and get the gearing just right (not the auto adjust one) and as you start from the line on the speed test, at 270mph your tires are still spinning (trac control on 2). When they gain traction, the game has a glitch and it propels you well past 300mph until the turn, when you bleed off the speed. You can never get that back again tho. Thats why I think its a game glitch. Oh well, looks nice in the first place bracket!
Also, getting all golds in the first license is great, you win a Miata so you have 20k to spend on it! Awesome way to come out winning!
Go get em boys!

Yea, guess I should lean to handle drift in a rwd car now shouldnt I? Cant ask for race style cornering if I dont have AWD. Looks like its off to the R-35 II. After I hit the movies, its off to a day of non stop game play. :-D

The escudo can reach well over 300mph, if you work with the glithc in the escudo you can go until the digit space runs out and the little "E" comes out. The Escudo pretty muhc pops a wheelie at a certain speed wiht the right settings.

Shit... I've had my Escudo up to 580+ mph before I hit a wall... then I went around the corner, and it started again. It will actually do a wheelie when going past 250 mph with my setup. I don't have the game on... but I am pretty sure the setup is:
no traction control, no asm, full rear downforce, no front downforce, heavy front suspension, light rear suspension, sticky tires, and a really tall gear setup... but make sure your car can hit 250 in 6th fast... or you won't have enough time to get to speed.
If someone trys this, and its wrong... I will turn on the game and get the exact settings.

haha beat you to it. Also if you got to seattle w/ the Escudo and keep going until u get to that U turn then turn around before you hit the U-Turn and stay on the right side wall and go as fats as possible until you hit that corner. You should magically go through the wall and be able to drive wherever you want for an infite time. That is how you get your car to go to lie 5457846878457mph (sumin like that) then your car kinda flips and the car freezes.

I also heard there is one in the Special Stage Route 5 but I don't know where it is.

I have had my Toyota GT-1 to like 1500mph in a wheelie on the test track, I can turn lap times on the test track in the 1.03 minute range when getting it up to 1500mph.

I've been drifting in GT3 for 3 or 4 months now, and its damn fun to drive... But it takes tons of practice to beat people\computers when they have non-simulation tires. Simulation tires give u the best handling in drifts, but it takes alot longer to learn. But when u compare time trials, drifting w/ simulation tires as opposed to race driving w/o simulation tires, simulation tires don't stand a chance....

Anyways, all I do is AWD and RWD drifting.. My fastest consecutive time is at Tokyo Route 246 driving the S15 w/ simulation tires. Lowest speed: 43mph(at that sharp L corner) - Highest Drift Speed: ~85mph - Time: 1:59:607
