Hah haa.. ONe of the best "test drive" stories i have ever heard.. I still love the video that was on Ebaumsworld a while back when the guy tested the Cobra and started doing burn outs in front of the dealership and blowing out the speakers .. Then said that he couldn't "do that color" when the sales man wanted to sell the car to him.. He was dumbfounded.. Probably lost his job too cause the guy gave him no info (Not even a license).

Hella cheap payments? Please explain. How could a new GTO (~35-40k) be cheaper than a Nissan (Titan, I assume)?? If GTO's really are getting off-loaded, I might hop on that train. Either way, that's a helluva story. Now that Salesman will sell a ton of cars, because he has first-hand experience of the car's capabilities.. er second-hand experience. heh.

The price started out at 33K. Anyway.

My other truck is a 2003 nissan frontier. trade in value 11k.

Anyways im still trying to figure out my finances.

BTW, The Gto really doesnt feel that fast, it also feels really heavy.

My brother has the '04 GTO with the 350 in it. I gotta tell you, I'm a fan of it. It drives extremely well, its comfortable, and it can burn the hell out of some tires.

The major problem with them is shipping them in from Australia costs a boatload (no pun intended) which keeps the price at that $30,000 mark. GM really wanted to price it in the mid $20,000 range: possibly a base model just over $23,000.

Now, for $20,000 a 400hp GTO sounds perfect!

This is exactly the idea GM will re-introduce when they put the new Camaro into production. A big, performance V8 for not much over $20,000. You give me 400hp, a factory warantee, and a decent looking car for $20 grand? I'm all over it.

Thats true. However i also have a 2001 2500hd silverado chevy truck that i use for towing and stuff. So the nissan truck, has been just a daily/ gas saver. Im pretty bored with the truck, and the gto gets around the same milage.
