I have 17x8 with a +44 offset volk GTN, with Potenza 730's.  225/24/17 Z rated tires..

Today i was driving when I heard a thump thump from the rear tire... i stopped, and i noticed one of my tires was nearly about to go flat.  When i touched the rubber..it was very Very HoT!  like I had been driving it for 50k nonstop or something.  Even after 10 mins the rubber was still pretty warm.   The rims.. weren't even hot.. Well they are conducters of heat as somebody told me.  I"m lost??

anybody have similar experience?? know what the problem is???  (I even broke a wheel stud...Wasn't rusted at all just broke off when i was trying to tighten my spare)

if your tire press gets too low then the tire deflects all over the place when u drive because it's soft, that causes the tire and air inside it to heat up.

tire mounted in right direction?(when looking head on toward
the back it should look tike this:^)
driving above the speed rating?
under/over inflation?
rim not balanced?
the heat has to be transfered, heat is lost dont be too surprised
