i was gettin on the freeway tonight on one of those S-shaped on ramps, and i guess i was goin a little too fast and the back end came out. i counter steered and hit the brakes once i was going the right direction, then i let off the brakes to stop sliding and almost did a complete 360. i started rolling back, so once i was going slow enough i hit the brakes again to stop. luckily there was no one behind me for a ways or that woulda been the end of my car.

now the weird thing is, i've been driving my car on a twisty road to and from work every day for the last five weeks, with it being rainy at least half the days. i do push the car, but i've never lost traction like that. even screwing around in a parking lot to find the limits, the worst i've made it to is understeer. i would never have expected that car to oversteer like that.

+1 for track experience or i would have just stood on the brakes and not countersteered and flew off the on ramp down a hill into the creek or something.

omg you fucking dumbass. HOw dare you have fun in your car....You can ONLY have fun in your car ON the track. WTF is wrong with you?

hahah. sorry, it seems like EVERYONE on this site says that, so i figured i'd say it for once!

On a serious note....It nice having the track experience and knowing your car isn't it? Sometimes i think it should be mandatory to have track experience before getting a license....would cut down on a lotta stupid accidents caused by people who know nothing about what to do in icky situations.... nice save!

Maybe hes been at the track for so long that, in his head he's picturing a track, happens to me after playing GT4 all day.
