I don't think he's sponsored by anyone just yet. His video's used to entice someone to sponsor him. I need to start skating again, use to hit up the Frisco Piers almost everyday...now I'm a slacker....

Actually, I do ride for Complex Skateboards, Kronik Energy Drinks, and Product Clothing. I am really working on getting some bigger names I would love to get flow from a shoe company and wheel company since I flatspot wheels weekly. The video is also filmed from quite a few skateparks in Arizona not just one. I have a ton more footage I have to change and update the video now haha. Thanks for the props guys!

Nice man, sure brings a lot of memories.
I skated from 88-93, but around that time skating was dying out, friends moved, college happened, broken bones and I wasn't progressing any further... sigh.
World Industries/Blind were the shit, DC shoes was a fledgling company and nothing was 'Xtreme' yet.... lol... some of my amateur friends then were just happy to skate for gear and pros made a couple of grand a month. God I'm old.
Still got a board.... hmmm... wonder what happened to all my Trasher mags?

edit: just finished watching the rest of your vid... very smooth.. Matt Hensley and Ed Templeton come to mind.

Hey thanks a lot man its so cool to bring back memories of the old days when it was all grassroots and stuff. I've seen so much change and im only 20. I have been skating for a while since I was in jr. high before it was "cool" and I just do it for the fun and pure enjoyment of it all.

:werd: i used to hit that up on weekends wen i was in hs, now i seldomly ride..and since i broke my deca board a few months ago, ive only been riding snow. just got a free ftc deck from my buddy tho, so hopefully i can ride again wen it gets nicer

Edit: just watched vid. you got a pretty raw style, but i dunno, i think you should incorporate more street then park if your tryin to get sponsored, just my 2cents, not hating or anything

It was really 'cool' when I started.
I remember going out with a few friends and hitting a few spots and after a while we would form crowds of 15-20 skaters going down Wilshire Blvd.
This was in the late 80s. Videos hadn't blown up yet (Animal Chin and Wheels on Fire were the only ones we were aware off),
Hosoi was the man on vert and a kid name Tony was starting to get buzz. Natas and Mark owned the streets while Rodney Mullen was winning every freestyle contest he entered.
My first board was an Alva with stripped pink (i know, it was cheaper) grip tape. I was styling wth my Jimmy Z shorts with the side strap, Caballero dragon t-shirt and Vision Street Wear canvas high tops.

Oh man I had a Mike Mcgill Skull and Snake deck....Animal chin and sick boys were super rad videos when I was a little grommet....I remember JimmyZ stuff with the woody trucks on it all haha....Hosoi got out of Jail and he was in the newest Blind video.....oh and about skating more street and stuff I just don't really like street as much as tranny it's not my style and unfortunately a lot of other companies feel the same way that tranny like doesn't count as skateboarding haha....

Wow...memories...

Back in the day, riding my "G&S" Neil Blender board...good times!

I was always too damn big and clumsy (6' 4" tall, wear a size 15 shoe) to be really good like my friends...but I LOVED to skate back then ('89-92 or so).

LOL... ahh the old Vert vs Street debates, we just skated what we had. We used to say street was better only because we didn't have easy access to ramps and pools.

Neil Blender and Lance Mountain were some wacko fools... anyone remember Gator? Arguably the first superstar of skating? There was a TV special on his story that aired not too long ago on cable.

I remember how blown away we all were when we first heard that Natas and Mark Gonzales had ollied onto a rail going down stars....

Ah skating, good times. Your vid was sick man, not bad at all. I agree with whoever about the incorporation of more street but other than that iit looks great. Props!

Man Gator was a legend back then...there is that movie they made "Stoked" where they do some phone interviews with him in prison and talk to a lot of guys that he used to roll with....I love the Gonz I can't believe he is still around, but then again is Mountain, Cab, etc. Does anyone here have any connections to any potential sponsors if so PM me or whatever thanks guys!

P.S. Like I mentioned before I do already ride for a couple companies I really would love to get some Wheels and Shoes since I burn through both of those a ton

In response to Edd240 it is Strung Out "Analog" and then Murder City Devils "Press Gang"

that180guy man we just got a new skatepark well actually BMX park built here and no tranny is under 5 feet and its all vert with a 13 or 14 foot over-vert pocket like on Bob Burnquist's ramp it is so insane and I love big tranny....I do skate street I just have a love for tranny and riding it creatively!
